It is a bit more stable than other adaptors I have seen, but I am not as satisfied as I would like. Yes it has the NIKON name on it, but it truly is a Chinese made product. 

It is made of Aluminum. Attaching the top screw mount onto the arm after inserting the binoculars and screwing it down gave a squeaky noise. I had to add a bit of lube to get it to stop squeaking and making the tie down more manageable.  

Once the binoculars are locked down, the rest is easy as long as you align the binoculars with the tripod, meaning you don't get poked by the tripod control knobs or trip on the tripod legs. 

Other than that, I like this product, except the fact that I thought I was buying a new product, without the box it came in having the opening being partially ripped open.

The product looks like there is an added attachment where the product mounts to the tripod, possibly a quick mount, but it was not included.

Could have been better for it's price.
