Does the job as expected

I purchased a 70-300 second hand and it did not come with a bag. I have a bag for all of my other lenses so I wanted one for this one as well. It is the same as all the OEM bags that Nikon lenses come with. Perfect fit for the lens and works well to keep dust and debris off of it.

Love this case

I have one of these for all my lens. It is thin and still protective. I give them 5 stars.

Very practical and cost effective

This case does everything it was designed to do, only set back is the drawstrings are tough to loosen at times

Does its job

I took this lens case with me to Africa and it was perfect for the travel while it kept my 70-300 mm lens safe.

Great invention

My lenses are normally kept in my backpack in their own compartments. They haven't been totally safe until I got cases for each of them to protect them from sand etc. that can find it's way to my backpack.

good quality, good replacement of origin

I got a few used lenses in the market without a cover, this cover fits perfectly most of them. a few alternatives in the market that i had before, didnt had enough padding or were cumbersome to open. this one is good, and is nikon. price is fair [...] no excuses. I used one for my 70-300, but i am using another for my 18-200 zoom. it is pretty large.

Fibres can get inside lens

I have 3 of these that I received with 3 different Nikkor lenses. A 50mm, 105vr micro, and the 70-300mm AF-S. They all have small fibres that rub off and get onto the glass, and are small enough to enter the lens. I now have a fibre inside my 105vr. I can focus down to it and it looks just like the fibres that get all over the glass and I have to brush off with my lens brush. There's only a few fibres at a time, but it's enough to cause a problem. I can pull out about 1 fibre each time I wipe my finger on the inside of one of these bags, with about the same pressure a lens puts on the bag. I cannot recommend the use of these for your lenses, unless you want to support your local lens service. Maybe you can use them to 'wrap' gifts with, or keep your change in them. If you MUST use it, maybe you should put the lens into a zip-lock-type bag first, but that's not the best thing either. Get a proper lens case, or carry them in a protective camera bag.
