coolsho pro II is an outstanding product as I expected for a nikon product.  I have been a nikon camera users last 45 years and have had no major complaints.  The rangefinder itself deserves 5 stars for its fast response and compensation of handshake and such.  However, I cannot speak the same for its soft case.  Virtually it is useless.  The small loop in the back of case is too small to insert a good carabiner to secure the rangefinder.  Speaking of the belt loop, who wants to have something dangling on the side or on  the back when playing golf?  Even the inexpensive rangefinders (less than $100) come with  decent hard cases with carabiner attached.   So, I am giving the case 1 star.  The case, to me, is hurting the nikon reputation as being one of the best.

Outstanding rangefinder and a lousy carrying case

A good update to the first Nikon Coolshot Pro Stabilized rangefinder, with improved optics and hyperspeed, the ProII is simply the best rangefinder for golf.  The stabilization feature is very helpful and unlike other top-end rangefinders it is lightweight and compact enough to fit easily in a pocket or cart drinkwell.
