Shopper : Does this work with the Monarch series fieldscopes?Jerald G : I do not have a Monarch series fieldscope. Check with Nikon USA.
FREDERICK H : Is there an adapter so the Nikon FSAL2 can be fitted to a Pentax K5 body?LYNNE S : The image pictured is the FSA-L1. The L2 features a zoom adjustment ring from 500-1750 and has a locking interface on both ends. As far as the compatibilty is concerned. I dont think it will be possible for the Pentax K5 to be fitted using the FSA-L2 adapter to the fieldscope. Here is why. The K-mount of the Pentax SLR is different than than the F-mount of the Nikon. A, K to F adapter would be necessary to make the connection. It could work I just havent had any experience with that. ANDREW R : Unfortunately no, we do not appear to offer a Nikon F to Pentax K adapter.
Appu N : Can you confirm if the is FSA-L1 or FSA-L2? I see the Image of FSA-L1 & But the Title & description is FSA-L2FREDERICK H : It is an FSA-L2. I have the scope. I am about to order the FSA-L2 from you. FredBRADLEY D : The picture shown is the FSA-L1.

EDG VR Must Have

Used for photographing birds, other off-shore activities. Works great, but big and cumbersome. Even w/ VR a tripod is required to manage the weight of the camera, the scope and the attachment

About Nikon FSA-L2

Nikon Fieldscope Digital SLR Camera Attachment FSA-L2 for use exclusively with Nikon EDG Fieldscopes and Nikon D-SLR cameras.

The Digital SLR Camera Attachment FSA-L2, which has 3.5x zoom and 500-1,750mm (f/5.9-21) focal length, used together with the EDG Fieldscopes enables super-telephoto shooting with Nikon D-SLR cameras.

The D-SLR camera's Aperture-Priority Auto Mode can be used when the camera is connected to the FSA-L2 and EDG Fieldscope. The new EDG Fieldscopes have been developed to provide excellent optical and mechanical performance, not only for observation but for digiscoping as well. The FSA-L2 features a bright optical path with fully multilayer-coated lenses. The combination of EDG Fieldscopes, the FSA-L2 and Nikon D-SLR cameras allows the capture of beautiful moments with high precision and superb image quality.
