I'm bothering to write a review on a lowly lens cap because I got burned by not purchasing a genuine Nikon lens accessory. Perfect design. Best I've ever seen.
Normally, I'm not the type to spend extra bucks on plastic accessories, but these Nikon caps are actually worth it. The generics work, but the Nikon caps are so perfect, you wonder why it took so long for such a basic accessory to reach its zenith of design. They're convenient -- you can pinch 'em on and off from the inside (good with hoods), or squeeze 'em on and off from the outside. They're thicker than other caps.
