Not original purchaser, received today was in perfect condition.. Looked like brand new. The first time I adjusted the eyepiece the rubber unraveled. Called nikon and since I was not original owner, they could do nothing for be besides send it back in for repair, at my cost, and if they could not fix it, they would give me a new one at 40% off. The warranty is not what it's all cracked up to be. Good thing the person I bought it from is giving me a refund. It's sad because it fits well in hand, the stabilization is good, and the optics seemed pretty good (for the three minutes I used it) never get a second chance to make a first impression.. What happened was a bummer and the service was terrible to boot. So never nikon, and purchased the bushnell pro xe tonight.

This range finder takes the stress out of using range finders. There's nothing worse than trying to stabilize the range finder, right before hitting a shot. This game is stressful enough! Highly recommended.

Fantisc features in a small size, the stabilization feature is a game changer, had a Bushnell Tour V4, and the side by side comparsion was very dramatic, the Nikon Coolshot Pro was better in all aspects of use on the golf course.

This is an excellent rangefinder. I have had other in the past that are maybe a little easier to use but doesn’t have any of the functionality that this thing has. If you are serious into golf and won’t to know what your precise distance is, this is the rangefinder to use.

I have used other rangefinders and this is the best. The PROS: The indicators are bright and highly legible. The optics are top notch and the stabilization works very well, allowing me to lock onto a target very quickly. I highly recommend this rangefinder for golf. The CONS: Price is a bit high

Superb features on this golf rangefinder! I love the image stabilizer as you zero-in at the flag, the actual distance AND slope distance instant read, the 1000 yard range, the cool white color of the unit (easy to see in bag and matches gloves), easy to read OLED red display! It a top end product rich with features.

Coolshot Pro Stabilized is exactly as advertised. Light. Quick target acquisition. Stabilization is very handy in the Texas wind. Just works as designed out of the box. Past user of a GPS golf tool and quite surprised at the slope impact on distances - total game changer.

I have been using Nikon products for awhile now and they are the most reliable on the course. I love that they changed the color to white. It is easier to find in the cart when the round is over. The hand stabilizer makes for quick and accurate readings and comparing it to any other brand this one blows it out the water.

Rather than purchase another club or training gimmick, I decided that a rangefinder would be a better investment towards helping me to not only understand the actual achievable distances with my current clubs but to also aid in choosing when to pull which club while playing. Being familiar with the stabilization technology used in Nikon's photographic equipment and taking into account my experiences with laser measuring technology, I opted for the Nikon CoolShot Pro Stabilization. For longer distances, the stabilization capability completely eliminates the "shakiness" that most people complain about when discussing their experiences with rangefinders. So far, this has been an excellent purchase and well worth the investment.

I've used a variety of different range finders and the best feature for me is image stabilization. I'm not as still as I've aged and it's been hard with other finders to get a good lock on for the laser unless it's stabilized. This one is PERFECT! You can tell when it kicks in - I love it. Also, being able to differentiate the pin from the trees or greenery behind it is great. I have Large size golf gloves and my hands are not small - this fits perfectly and is very comfortable in the hand to give you a size perspective. I thought the battery door was going to be awkward but it actually works great and fits perfect in my hand. The brightness is very good - it does not display in black, only red with varying levels of brightness and a green ring when the foreground target is captured. The stock case that comes with it isn't anything special so if you can get the White Nikon pouch specific for this. This also does not have a silicone cover around that I can find - watch out for sliding in the cart if you just lay it on the seat.

Upon the golf spy review, I purchased the coolshot stabilizer rangefinder. I've had two previous top-tier Bushnell rangefinders and I've been happy with both. The Nikon however has a far more clear image, is waterproof and has a longer warranty.

Was using a Bushnell Tour V4 but was getting frustrated not being able to lock onto other targets besides the flag stick. Decided after reading all I could on various rangefinders to give this a try. One word : WOW If you are looking a range finders, you need to give this one a try !

Have had several rangefinders including another cool shot which I love but the pro stabilized is a huge step up. The stabilizing feature is remarkable and the ability to pick out the closest object avoids mistakes. The slope adjustment feature speaks for itself .
