Nikon ROSTAFF 3i Laser Rangefinder, a pocket-sized tool that utilizes Nikon's ID (incline/decline) Technology and provides precision, speed and consistency out to 650 yards.

Nikon's advanced ID (incline/decline) Technology allows users to range horizontal distance to targets from a hilltop or valley with the same confidence and ease as ranging over flat ground-simply aim, push the button and plan your shot according to the displayed distance. Only one number is displayed, the correct distance needed to make the shot.

The PROSTAFF 3i is easy to use in the field with a high profile display, single button control and ergonomic frame. Holding the measurement button down allows for continuous measurement as the user scans the terrain, which can also be highly effective for ranging the distance to a moving target. The PROSTAFF 3i displays ranges in .1 yard or meter increments and features an automatic power shutoff after the reading has been displayed for eight seconds.

It also features Tru-Target Technology that allows users to select between first target priority mode and distant target priority mode. First target priority mode displays the distance of the closest subject while distant target priority mode displays the range of the farthest target among a group of targets measured

With bright, multicoated 6x optics, the PROSTAFF 3i offers high-resolution images in most lighting conditions. An easy-to-view uncluttered LCD display makes ranging fast and easy, even in bright sunlight. Its compact frame weighs just 5.6 ounces, fits comfortably in a pocket or pack and can be worn on a belt without interfering with your shot.

The PROSTAFF 3i features an exit pupil of 3.5 mm for maximum brightness under less-than-ideal lighting conditions. It has a long 18.3mm of eye relief, which provides easy viewing, even for those who are wearing eye glasses. The rainproof construction makes it the ideal choice for inclement weather

The Total Station DTM-1, first sold in 1985, was the first highly advanced electronic model of those surveying instruments that incorporated a distance and angle measuring capability developed by Nikon Corporation.
