Attaching the external battery pack is worth it to me
I have had my Z8 since May 26th. Overall 5 stars. It does everything I need and want it to. I leave the external battery pack on. I like the way it holds the camera battery door much more than my Z7. With my 100-400S lens, which I use much of the time, and the ext battery pack, my setup comes in at 6 pounds.
