Can't go Wrong

I bought this to use with a used B800 flash that did not come with one.   It provides just about the diffusion you would expect from a small diffuser, the price was right and it fit perfectly.

D800 Replacement Diffuser- Great value.

This is an OEM replacement.  I bought completing some flashes I bought used.  Hard to go wrong with the OEM for original fit and feel.

Get a Nikon diffuser dome!

What can I say, its a speedlight diffuser dome. But there is something I can say. I am a full time working photographer. I use Nikon cameras and lenses. And I use Nikon accessories. I have tried aftermarket gear and have often been disappointed. From batteries to lens caps the quality is always great and the functionality even better. I count on Nikon system products to work in demanding jobs.

I bought this because the original on my sb800 broke and I wanted to get a replacement. It fits and functions like the original did.

I've never broken one of these myself but I bought a used SB800 and it came with a broken one.  They do seem a little fragile, however they fit much better on the SB-800 than the Stofen units.

I use the diffuser on my flash during indoor sports events that have poor lighting, it softens the flash output and it helps to diffuse shadows on the walls behind the players

Great Replacement

There is a misprint on the the Nikon USA website.  This diffuser does not fit the Nikon SB28 SpeedLight.

Works

It puts out so much even, balanced light from one source that a totally unlit room appears bright. My main use is for superwide-angle interior photos.  On a Nikon SB 800, even with a 10 mm, digital SLR lens, there are no dark edges.
