Shopper : can this be used with a Nikon SB-600?Dick P : I don't know why Nikon does not make one for the SB-600 or 800. They don't, and this one will not slip on. However, I was desperate and ordered this unit and did some work on it to make it fit. I heated up the top and bottom and formed it to slip over my SB-600, which it will do. Then, I could either use some tape to hold it in place or grind a couple of dimples in the top of my SB-600 for the tabs to snap into. I chose to use my drimmel tool and make a couple of dimples to align with the two tabs. To make a long story short-- I got it to work very well. I have two of these now, one with about 12 holes drilled in the front to let some white light through--giving me a color temperature of about 3500 degrees. The other one is not drilled, giving me a color temp or 2700 degrees. I use both of them when shooting events-- and snap the correct one on for different rooms. Of course-- I set my WB on the camera for these exact temperatures and WALLA, I get perfect results. I love them.

Love the functionality

This is a great tool. I just wish they had 1/2 and 1/4 CTO. I use those color much more than full.
