The TC-14E lll is great on my D500 when I want a little extra reach.
I have not really been big on teleconverters but bought the TC-20E lll a few years ago and really like it with my fast Nikon Zooms. Buying this TC-14E lll was a pretty low risk since I knew it was sharper than the 2X. Being Nikon refurbished for about 20% lower price also seemed pretty low risk. This teleconverter performs great and seems like a no brainer with if you have an investment in Nikon lenses. Adorama's website and service are outstanding. I highly recommend this teleconverter....
