Couldn't tighten center post
I needed a new lightweight tripod to keep in my car's trunk. This model looked like a good choice. I found it wasn't built as well as the lost Manfrotto it would replace. Worse, the thumbscrew intended to lock the center post couldn't be tightened. I returned the defective unit and am now looking for other options. I'm pleased with my Nikon cameras and lenses, but this tripod didn't live up to their reputation.

Adarama has all the photography itemes I need. From digital to film. Whenever I need something I always look to Adarama first.
The tripod is lightweight but will hold the heaviest lens securely.

Good Value for lightweight tripod
I'm very pleased with the Nikon tripod - perfect for small camcorders and DSLR's. It's sturdy and has leveling bubbles - good for traveling.
