This lens... while pricey, is incredible. Worth the price in all aspects. Super fast/accurate (paired with the z8) and the bokeh and DOF is great. It is so choice, if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.

I Bought the Nikkor Z 135 mm Plena lens which is amazing, i have no complaints but i bought it as a bundle with Hoya Nxt Plus filters, Where as one of the UV filter was missing in original package , Another major problem with Hoya Nxt plus 82 mm filters are it being stuck to the lens 6 out of 10 occasions i used, i should go with other magnetic filter systems.

There are no doubts about the best portrait lens that Nikon has ever built.
However for me Adorama delivers all the time. With accumulated points and super fast shipping, will not hesitate to do business with Adorama again.

Beautiful lens and excellent buying experience

This Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lens is incredible. All of my lenses are S lenses but this one is a major step above. I love the fast focus and ability to really fade the background without vignette on the edges. It's a great addition to my bag.

Best lens in my bag now

Fast 135mm - at f1.8 depth of field is extremely shallow and the bokeh superb. Colors are highly saturated with excellent contrast implying great control of internal reflections. Beautiful images.

 The only thing that contends it is the 135mm f2 DC lenses for the F mount cameras. The plena  is easier to use and more intuitive. The DC lenses gave a shallower depth of field that f2 normally provides but had to be adjusted manually (which was a pain). The Plena is a 1.8 so it's naturally shallow. It's just a better lens.
