This a great little lens. Nice and sharp and I just love the 28mm perspective better than 35mm. To me this is a sweet spot lens. Just wide enough and just close enough.

I picked up the 28mm f/2.8 SE lens to pair with the Nikon ZF both for size and looks. The 28mm has worked great for street photography shots and is bright enough for most uses. I have found the auto focus speed to be more than adequate and the image quality is perfect for street scenarios. It did not come with a lens hood but a small aftermarket one that accepts filters works well. This lens shares the same filter size as the 40mm f/2, making it good for using the same hood/filter combo on either lens. Highly recommended for those who like shooting at 28mm and don't need a f/1.8 or f/1.4 lens. It pairs well with the ZF.

This is a great lower cost lens, but works better on a full frame Nikon body with vibration reduction. I love the light weight and image quality, but when used with a body that does not have vibration reduction you have to use a very steady hand.

Love the compactness of this lens. It's a great wide angle prime lens if you are trying to reduce the size and bulk of your camera. It functions well and produces nice photos.

I am so excited that I now have the Nikon Z 28mm f2.8 lens as one of my Nikon Z prime lenses. It's small size, light weight, and low aperture make it a great walk around lens. I can see it always being in my camera bag.

Amazing image quality, light and portable, sharp wide open. Great little lens when you want to travel light, bring to parties, and for everyday general photography. The 28mm is no getting more use than my 24-70 due to size and weight.

Nice lens, I own the older 28mm-2.8 ai-s lens as well, both work well on the zfc. It's nice to switch up to take advantage of the auto focus on the newer z lens. Great images from both lenses.

This is a perfect walk around lens for my Nikon Zf C as the EFL is 42mm. I will also be using it on occasion on my full frame bodies for the 28mm look when I want to go lighter. The image quality seems good and the lens is so light weight. It has a plastic mount but that is of no bearing to me as I got this as an alternative to my heavy, pro lenses.

I found that this lens is great for street shooters but just not wide enough for me if I wanted to Vlog. The image quality is pretty good for the size and price. It does not feel like the older F mount 50mm and 35mm 1.8?s but it is more modern and the design fits the New Z bodies perfectly.

This is such a great lightweight lens option for walking around with your mirrorless. The entire camera with the lens on it weighs less than just my 50mm Z lens. This little lens is quick to focus and takes beautiful pictures in low light just like the other mirrorless lenses from Nikon.

The native Nikon Z lenses are broadly magnificent, modern lenses in terms of image quality, build, and handling. Though the f/1.8 lenses are not large, a truly compact lens has been something that I've wanted for years. So far, I'm really impressed with the how the 28 performs in-hand and really love how it transforms the camera into a compact, minimal, easy-to-carry solution.

This is not the perfect 28mm, but it is sharp in the center WO, and fun to use on the z body. Better than the legacy Minolta MD 28 I was using on my z6. So much smaller and unobtrusive than the other Z mount lenses. Great street or travel lens. Overall, for the modest price, I am really pleased with this lens.
