Love my new camera. The sling strap is not the best as it goes in the bottom of the camera. Makes it a little awkward

This camera is amazing. I am an old school film user and very happy with the camera. I like having all the external buttons just like my old Nikons. The kit is very handy as it includes most of what you need for a day out.

Everything I expected in a nikon. Great price for such a featured filled camera. Chose this over z6iii based on cost and I don't do video.

Adorama is my go to for camera gear, and the z6ii bundle from them has been perfect. Much higher value than other bundles I've seen and cheaper.

This is a great camera. It is easy to use in an automatic mode and provides amazing photos, but also allows for more experienced and enthusiasts of photography to control and vary their work.

I couldn't be happier with my choice. After comparing other brands base on my budget, and specs, I went with Nikon. Always been a Nikon fan. It feels good in the hands, easy to carry around, and the dials/nav are easy to use and to get to. It's a learning curve, first time venturing into a full frame mirrorless camera and I'm happy with what I've seen so far. The shots here were taken with the Nikon Z 28 f2.8 SE lens... such a fun lens!

As a sports photographer I now love it after changing the focus settings from the factory, I'll be selling my D500 and using the $$ to help purchase the Z mount 70-200mm f/2.8 (a friend let me borrow his) I added the battery grip as I shoot some sports vertically and it really fits my hand nice and seems to be lighter then the D500 and f mount 70-200mm lens combo.

Upgraded from my D750. I shoot mostly wildlife. The first thing I noticed is that the images are clearer compared to the DSLR. Shot some photos of a hawk that hangs around our back yard with an f mount 300 f4 lens. Images were awesome. Another reason I went mirrorless is I'm wanting to try video. Will be selling some f mount lenses to buy z mounts. So far very pleased with the upgrade.

I recently upgraded to the full frame Z 6II from my D500. The first thing I noticed was the difference in weight. The Z 6II is much lighter and the body is more compact. I have fairly large hands so the smaller grip on the Z 6II takes some getting used to. I have noticed that the kit lens that came with my Z 6II is an S Line series lens which provides extremely clear photo detail compared to the lenses on my D500. Don't get me wrong, I still love my D500 but the clear advantages of the new full frame mirrorless cameras is very noticeable indeed. I have only used the camera for a short time, and I am very pleased with the results I'm getting so far. Great camera and lens combination at a good price. Thank you Nikon.

Picked up one of these while they were on sale for $400 off and I don't regret it one bit, the performance of this thing is outstanding all around and fairly easy to use. Mildly heavy and my only complaint is that extended or long exposure pictures absolutely need to be on a tripod as this camera's VR is honestly not the greatest. Wouldn't trade it for anything else still, it's an incredible value and well done product by Nikon who I've grown to love as a beginner and first time customer. Battery life is also excellent and the fold out screen is great except it can't fold out like a door, buttons are pretty solid and some are even metal, doesn't really get hot with mild use.

I love this camera! I upgraded from a Z6 and I am not disappointed. It is amazing how you tolerate things because you have to. Case in point, the Z6's auto focus. Subsequent firmware updates did make it better. But the Z6ii, blows away the Z6 in every way. Focus, buffer, processing speed. If you are on the fence about getting this camera, even in 2024, just do it. You won't regret it.

Amazing camera. The best camera I've ever owned... well, until last week I bought the Z8. That one takes the cake. I still love the Z 6ii though.

Lessons learned about the Z6ii over the last few weeks - mostly for video. -manual ISO only works in photo and not video. To adjust brightness for videos use the Exposure Compensation button. -The camera overheats in 4K video with 60 frames per second (fps). You have to switch down to 24 fps and it won't overheat. Overall, it's a great camera, and I can't wait to get some other lenses.

I made the leap from DSLR after lots of research and lm glad I did. The clincher for me is that I can use my AF-S type lenses with the FTZ-2 adapter. Outstanding!!

First foray into full-frame mirrorless moving up from D500 (previously D5100 my first Nikon!). Still learning some different button locations and adapting to the smaller size from the D500 but learning curve is simplified due to Nikon's fairly consistent menu system. I'm shooting with all my DX lenses with the FTZii adapter and have been very impressed so far. Can't wait to get my Z full-frame lenses to realize the full potential of this camera.

I've used both the D850 and D750 extensively. They are good but the Z6 ii is better. It's phenomenal in low light. The ability to customize the menu is outstanding. Coupled with the Z 70-200 2.8 S lens you get the sharpest photos and spot on color balance!

I have been wanting to try mirrorless photography for some time and just couldn't pass up the deal on the refurbished 6II. I am still learning about all the features available in this camera, but, so far, am very impressed. It is so nice to be able to make adjustments to the settings without taking my eye away from the EVF. I really like that the image in the EVF and monitor are always live view instead of having to flip a switch to get to live view. The IBIS is great for low light conditions for lenses without VR capability. And, as with all Nikon cameras, the image quality is incredible. I am looking forward to many adventures with this camera.

Ok, been out of photography for about 10 years. So, this is a vast step up from D200 previous. So far, best camera I have ever owned. Some concerns however, just how strong is the lens mount? YES, with FTZ adapter, hold onto lens instead of camera. New mindset for that, although love the way my Nikkor AF-S 70-200G F/2.8 (F-type Mount) lens works on this camera. My old AF-S 28-70 F/2.8 lens has bad focus motor-unrepairable so had to buy Z-24-120 F-4-S lens. it's great. Still learning all the ins and outs on camera. Purchased from B and H, just best place to buy stuff. Low light inside is good. Switching between auto and A modes. Have not tried video, since that is NOT reason I got this. One day might know enough to be competent. Great Starting Out camera-high enough up line to give great performance, but down enough not to break bank if not professional. Should, based on past quality last me for years.

Only just beginning to get used to it, but so far I love it (and I have owned Nikon DSLRs from the D70 through D750, D800, and D850). I haven't had a chance to try my "older", non-Z lenses but I hope I won't find that I need replacements.

Brilliant Camera with a bit disappointment for existing Nikon DSLR customers
By V P.
I own a Nikon D850. However, I wanted to have Mirrorless experience and mostly looking for better auto-eye focus. I didn't want to move away from Nikon as I love Nikon in every aspect. I liked Nikon Z6 II and literally waited for more than 5 months to have this bundle to be available. As I started using the camera, the experience is just amazing. Its easy to carry around, picture quality is great and overall I am very satisfied. Note of Caution: If you are an existing Nikon user and invested...

This is the camera I wanted from Nikon. It’s the do all camera that will fit all photography needs from landscapes to wedding to portraits. Nikons color science is unmatched and their lenses are top notch. Their new 2.8 S Trinity lenses have been reviewed and criticized to be the best in optical quality when comparing to other systems. If you need exceptional video, it’s got it with 12-Bit 4:2:2 either ProRes or BRAW video. It’s BSI sensor has phenomenal low light performance. My favorite fea...

True multimedia powerhouse
This is what a hybrid still and video mirrorless camera is meant to be. 24.5MP BSI sensor and high-speed shooting with the buffer capacity to match. 4K Ultra HD video at 30p. Outstanding low-light capabilities. Next-generation autofocus. The power of dual processors. Two card slots. Tons of creative features. Flexible power options. Compatibility with a vertical battery grip. Wireless connectivity with smartphones and laptops and so much more.
More of Everything
The Z 6II builds on the extreme versatility of the Z mirrorless platform with more autofocus options, more video capabilities, more low light performance, more buffer, more frames per second... more of everything you want in a hybrid still and video camera.
Amplify your versatility.
Dual processors.
For the first time in a Nikon camera, the Z 6II is powered by not one, but two EXPEED 6 processing engines. They work together for faster image processing, more buffer capacity and more overall speed.
Dual card slots.
Now you have options. One slot accepts CFExpress (Type B) and XQD cards. The other slot accepts standard SD cards. Use the format you prefer. Or use both slots and separate video and still files or RAW and JPEG, create a backup or maximize your onboard storage.
High-speed shooting.
Experience 14 FPS continuous shooting at full resolution-RAW or JPG-with a buffer 3.5X larger than the previous generation and minimal EVF blackout between shots.
4K Ultra HD at 30p.
Record incredibly detailed 4K Ultra HD footage with full-pixel readout. Capture in your choice of frame rates including ultra smooth 30p with an upcoming firmware upgrade.
Go vertical.
Introducing the MB-N11, the pro-level grip for the Z 6II. Shoot vertically with comfortable controls-shutter release, command dials, Fn button and more-and get up to a 1.9x increase in battery performance.
More autofocus power.
Optimized for stills, high-speed sequences and video work, the Z 6II's 273-point Hybrid AF system brings performance improvements, new options for Eye-Detection AF and easier selecting of AF modes.
See in the dark.
With a big leap forward in low-light autofocus performance, the Z 6II can find your subject in half the available light as its predecessor. Keep shooting into the evening with the same fast, accurate AF performance.
Edge-to-edge coverage.
The AF system's 90% frame coverage lets you compose the way you want, from the start. Either manually choose one of 273 focus points across the frame, or let subject tracking automatically select the focus points based on where your subject is within the frame-even at the far edges.
Eye-Detection. Better than ever.
Nikon's intelligent Eye-Detection AF quickly identifies and locks onto eyes-either humans, dogs or cats-for properly focused portraits. The Z 6II builds on the system with accuracy enhancements and more flexibility.
Right on target.
Now you can use Wide-Area (L) Mode to set boundaries for eye detection. Select an area of the frame, and the Z 6II will only look for eyes there-great for busy scenes, group shots and pet portraits.
Capture the eyes. On Video.
All of these features of Eye-Detection AF are also available during video recording. Easily track moving subjects and keep footage looking sharp and professional on the eyes.
Video star.
The Z 6II builds on the Z 6's formidable video capabilities and might just be Nikon's most versatile video camera yet. All the benefits of the Z mirrorless system plus 4K Ultra HD at 30p, Full HD at 120p, 4K time-lapse and so much more.
Keep it simple. Or go big.
When keeping it simple, record your 4K footage in-camera on a CFexpress, XQD or SD card. Step things up by attaching an external recorder (sold separately) to capture 10-bit N-Log or HDR (HLG) footage. Or go all the way with a paid firmware upgrade and compatible external recorder and output 12-bit ProRes RAW or Blackmagic RAW format via HDMI.
Slow it way down.
Slow down time and capture every detail of movement with 120p Full HD footage that can be played back at 30p, 25p or 24p. Add silky smooth slow motion sequences to your videos to add emphasis and drama or highlight movement.
The stability you need.
Powerful 5-axis VR image stabilization keeps your photos sharp and your videos steady-up to five stops in up to five directions (yaw, pitch, roll, X and Y). Handheld shooting made easy.
Reverse focus rotation.
If you've been using non-Nikon lenses for video work, the Z 6II lets you reverse the focus ring rotation on NIKKOR Z lenses. Your muscle memory will thank you.
Create. In camera.
Built-in inspiration for multimedia creators.
Multiple Exposure
Combine up to 10 exposures into one visionary composition. Compose and blend-right in the viewfinder-while shooting, or go back later and combine shots with in-camera Retouch features.
900-second Exposures
Paint with light. Track the paths of stars. Capture movement like never before with long exposures up to 900-seconds. Use your smartphone to trigger the shutter to avoid camera vibrations.
Focus Shift Shooting
The Z 6II will take a series of up to 300 photos, each with an incrementally adjusted focus position. Use third-party software to combine (focus stack) the photos into a single image with surreal depth of field and sharpness.
Time-Lapse
Making time-lapse sequences is as easy as setting up the camera and hitting record. The Z 6II will create a 4K time-lapse movie and save all the full resolution stills (when used with interval timer shooting).
Tweak. Shoot. Create.
Add another element of uniqueness and artistry to your photos and videos with 20 Creative Picture Controls, all visible in real time while you shoot, either through the viewfinder or on the tilting touchscreen display.
Features
Mirrorless versatility on a whole new level.
24.5MP BSI resolution that excels in low light. 14 FPS suitable for fast action. 4K UHD Video performance at its best.
Full frame. Full pixel readout. Full featured 4K UHD Video.
Top of the line video performance with 4K UHD 30p using full pixel readout and a host of outstanding features for serious videographers.
Subject acquisition with speed and precision.
3.5x more buffer capacity than the original Z 6. Faster continuous shooting. Improved AF performance and functionality.
Dual card slots (CFexpress/XQD + UHS-II SD).
Flexibility and peace of mind when shooting important moments or on assignment, such as wedding and event photography.
Comfortable. Durable. Intuitive.
Z 6II's exterior and interior have been thoughtfully designed to be handled and used with max comfort and ease of operation.
Vertical Grip Ready.
Now compatible with the new vertical battery grip for those in need of more power and easier shutter operation when shooting vertically.
USB-C constant power and charging.
Never run low on power during livestreams, video shoots and time-lapses.
One mount accepts them all.
Compatible with a growing line of NIKKOR Z lenses as well as approx. 360 F-mount NIKKOR lenses with FTZ mount adapter (sold separately).
