Nikon z6iii

This is a learning curve for me coming from a D800. So far I like it but I'm still finding my way around the camera and menus. Sometimes I go back to the 800 just because I'm familiar and know what it can do. I gave it 4 stars only because I'm missing the larger files - I wish it shot bigger files like the z7ii. I might change my mind with more experience.

Great Camera

Bundle is great but the supported Greenworks battery is not recognized by Z6III camera.

Great Camera

Great camera and no issue so far but I don't link when Auto mode goes to shutter speed to 1/30 or 1/60 of seconds along with flash..

Solid

Solid camera, good hybrid. Only wish some of the menus would make settings more obvious. Also, it is heavy, but feature full, so it makes sense.

Happy with upgrade to Z 6III

Recently updated from by Z 6II and couldn't be happier. So much easier to capture sports with the Z 6 III

Quiet little monster

I had my doubts about mirrorless cameras but this sweet little gem has convinced me. Fast, light and spot on, even in low light. A wonderful addition to my equipment.

New School mirrorless

Just got out to our local County Fair to try this new camera. It will take a little time to figure it out but right now I am loving this camera. The results are stunning in low light with out a flash and I can not wait to try indoors sports like basketball and volleyball.

Just buy the camera. Not this bundle.

Camera is amazing but this bundle is inconvenient. Black battery does not work. Doesn't charge in the camera by hooking it up like it says in the manual. It did not come with an external charger. The camera bag is tiny. Cannot fit camera and lens in it together.

Everything is great except extra battery.

I am still learning but loving the camera and lens. The extra battery that was sent says it is not compatible with the camera. I wanted to have that extra battery but it is not working.

Feature-rich camera with minor caveats.

You'd do well to read some of the many professional reviews out there, but this lives up to the hype so far. 240 fps in full HD is everything I wanted, and it has many other advanced features to help me get the shot. I wish the sensor had a few more megapixels so the DX crop could be a bit more than 10 MP; if you're moving up from a DX camera, make sure you have some FX lenses to use or be ready to drop some cash on new lenses. The eye sensor is a little flaky sometimes, being a bit too sensitive to dust, and not quite working well with rain covers.

Great Value Bundle.

The Nikon Z6 III is a beast of a camera. I genuinely loved all the accessories that came with this bundle. The monopod is of great quality, as is the microphone, and the battery and charger work fine. Although the battery has a USB-C port, it does not work as a dummy battery.

An Impressive Hybrid Camera

I'm so impressed with the recording capabilities of this camera; I can finally step up my video production services to next level and everything is done internally at 6K/60fps with no cropping which is very impressive. The new camera features like the auto focus have been greatly improved over the Nikon Z6ii, I really love the new 3D tracking and how to camera is able to grab the eyes in low situations!

Best for the money

Very solid camera for both video and stills. The Nikon companion apps leave a lot to be desired. Especially when compared Sony. Raw video files have a subtle flickering problem in the deep shadows. +1 for Nikon lenses. AF tracking is solid but not amazing. It's my first camera and overall I'm happy with it.

This camera boasts a groundbreaking 6K/60p internal RAW video capability and 240p HD video, all viewed through Nikon's brightest and most detailed electronic viewfinder. It features the world's first partially-stacked CMOS sensor, which integrates high-speed data processing circuits, offering approximately 3.5 times faster readout speed compared to its predecessor, the Z6II.

The Z6III is equipped with a high-performance electronic shutter and a high-speed sensor, enabling super-fast continuous shooting and ultra-high shutter speeds without compromising the viewfinder experience. Capture up to 120 fps in JPEG with High-speed C30/C60/C120 modes, including Pre-Release Capture, and up to 20 fps in RAW with a maximum buffer of over 1000 shots. Rock-steady image stabilization is achieved with built-in 5-axis vibration reduction, providing up to 8 stops of stabilization. Focus Point VR ensures stabilization is prioritized on the active focus point, enhancing your shooting precision. The camera's pro-level video capabilities include stunning image quality, super-accurate autofocus, and the versatility of in-camera RAW recording up to 6K/60p. It also supports line-in audio and professional monitoring tools, with 6K Internal RAW N-RAW up to 60p and ProRes RAW up to 30p. Capture Full HD footage at 240p for 10X slow-motion output, and utilize Hi-Res Zoom with up to 2X digital zoom during HD recording and 1.4X during 4K recording without quality loss.

The Nikon Z6III is compatible with the Nikon MC-N10 Remote Grip (sold separately), Atomos UltraSync BLUE, and more, ensuring pro-level compatibility. Its EXPEED 7 processor enhances image quality at high ISO sensitivities and offers amazing low-light autofocus detection with Starlight Mode, allowing accurate composition in near-darkness. The wide ISO range of 100-64000, extendable up to Hi 1.7 (equivalent to ISO 204800), and advanced noise reduction ensure sharper, cleaner images in low-light environments.

The camera's advanced autofocus system, inherited from the Z8 and Z9, includes sophisticated multi-subject recognition enhanced by Nikon's Deep Learning technology. This all-new autofocus system is approximately 20% faster than the Z6II, with accurate detection of human faces as small as -3% of the frame. It offers subject detection in both auto and manual focus modes and reliable autofocus for backlit subjects. The Touch Fn feature allows you to adjust the focus point on the LCD while shooting with the EVF, and it automatically recognizes nine subjects, including people, dogs, cats, birds, airplanes, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, and trains.

Versatile shooting features like Pre-release Capture allow you to nail the decisive moment with confidence. High-impact portrait features include skin softening and fine-tuning skin tones with Portrait Impression Balance, while face and eye-detect autofocus ensures sharp focus on human and animal faces and eyes. The latest Picture Controls, such as Rich Tone Portrait and Deep Tone Monochrome, offer flexible color options, allowing you to create your desired color profile in NX Studio and upload it as a Custom Picture Control directly to your Z6III.

The camera's design and operation are enhanced by a best-in-class EVF, offering a brighter, more detailed, and smoother viewing experience. The versatile 3.2-inch vari-angle LCD is touch-sensitive, with a 170-degree viewing angle. Its magnesium alloy and Sereebo body provide superior durability, rated to operate down to 10 Degree C/14 Degree F, with professional-level dust and drip resistance. Dual card slots for SD UHS-II and CFexpress (Type B)/XQD cards offer backup, overflow, or separate file type storage options. The accessory grip MB-N14 Power Battery Pack (sold separately) replicates key controls for vertical shooting, and USB Power Delivery allows for in-camera battery charging and extended shooting.

With Camera to Cloud Connectivity, the Nikon Imaging Cloud service expands the capabilities and connectivity of your Z6III. Connect, create, and share with ease, using imaging recipes to give your photos and videos a distinctive look with Cloud Picture Control presets.
