This is my favourite lens for getting great landscapes. The 109 degree angle of view easily captures everything you want without having to go to a fisheye. Also works great in urban areas where regular lenses don’t work well.

The 10 mm end is too fish eye. But stop down to just 12 mm and it sharpens up nicely with great Bokeh.

I've always struggled with my regular lens to get everything into the shot, especially when in confined space. This is also good to capture the vastness of beautiful Alaska landscape. This is also a fun lens to have when you want to take whimsical pictures of pets with all the distortion it creates.

I got this for landscapes and I was very happy to have this during my my most recent travels. I use this on a tripod 99% of the time and shoot mainly around f/8-11. It's sharp enough for my purposes. I didn't need a super fast lens. I'm quite happy and love the ultra wide perspective.

Tris lens has problems with the front focus. It was impossible to fix fine tunning the camera. I compared this lens with Tokina 12-28, and I saw no significant difference in sharpness. Tokina is half the price than Nikon.

I bought this lens for shooting in tight spaces such as real estate photography. This certainly can capture smaller rooms and help give the perception of space.

For the price - not too pleased. The lens is tough to manage if you aren't familiar with fish-eye wide-angle lens options. You can actually capture the shadow of of the lens in shots if you aren't in the proper location in relationship to your light source. The pics aren't too clear or crisp - but this lens can definitely capture the "wideness" of whatever you are viewing. It may be more advised to go with Nikon's 12-24mm. I am using this on my Nikon 7200.

Nikon hasn't always been know for excellence in quality control, and I guess I've finally become a victim of their lapses. My copy of this lens was exceptionally disappointing - it had a serious front focus issue. I tested (wide open and at f8) it on two cameras (both of which work fine with other lenses), and got the same result on both. What I focused on in the scene was distinctly fuzzy, and the only parts of the scene that were in focus were significantly closer to the camera than the point I focused on. This behavior got WORSE when the lens was stopped down to f8. I returned this lens to Adorama it for a refund.

This is the best wide-angle lens I've ever used. I'd bought a Sigma 10-20 mm at a reasonable price earlier in the year, but the color wasn't nearly as sharp as it is with the Nikon. It's another good example of paying the extra money for the best without taking the unnecessary step and finding that you have an extra lens you won't use again.

I purchased this lens about a year ago as a refurbished lens from Nikon. As a real estate broker that would rather invest in my own equipment than hire a photographer for real estate photos, I needed a very wide angle lens to work with my then D5200 and now also my D7200, this lens is perfect for that, I have also found it to be a fun, recreational and creative lens. I recommend it.

I recently tested my Nikkor 10-24 mm DX ultra wide angle zoom lens on my new Nikon D500 camera body, at the Palomar Observatory in Northern San Diego County, California, to determine if I would take this lens to India and Nepal for sweeping panoramic views of the Himalaya Mountain Range. This lens has proven to be tack sharp on the Nikon D500 and responds well to the low light capabilities of the camera. See the captions for the two photos I have posted for exposure information.

This is one of my go-to lenses. It always seems to make an appearance on any shoot. Highly recommend it!

Just got the lens and have shot many test shots. Zoom is smooth and tight. The focus ring is too thin and the aperture ring can get in the way. This could be improved by switching positions of rings. Overall its a very good lens. I recently purchased a 105mm macro, which can be used on a FX and DX format camera and it cost the same as the 10-24mm and its a DX lens (FX would have to use crop). Seems the 10-24mm should cost less...?

The first time I put this on my D 7100 I fell in love with it. Sunrise photos got much better. It even did great at night. Had to do some shooting in a tight space in a dark bar. no problem. This is on one of my D 7100's and my other one has a Nikon 18-300 mm on it most of the time, (I keep a 35 mm handy too) I am ready for anything. Fun to use.

Lente com resolução de ruim a boa, boa construção e corpo leve. Tem como característica sua distorção bastante acentuada em 10mm até 15mm.

Just the thing for interior shots in homes. I've been using it for real estate photography and it is the way to go. One note is that I go back to my 18-105 when I get outside unless I need that really wide shot.

This lens is everything it needs to be, some may bash the lens barrel, but I find it's light weight quite comfortable! Best thing about it is not having to miss shots because I can't get back far enough! Sure, there's a little distortion, but at 10mm or so, it's expected! I definitely give the lens a 4.5 star rating, to me, a must have!

I actually bought this to replace one I had previously that was unfortunately stolen, but loved it and glad to have it back in my arsenal again! Perfect for cityscapes and landscapes! Took this sucker to the Grand Canyon & Muir Woods and got some amazing photos with it!

What an awesome lens. The difference between 18mm on my existing lenses to 10mm on this one is dramatic. Exciting possibilities. Expensive, but worth the investment. Can't wait to take this on my next trip.
