It's time to elevate your photography and videography with the Z f FX-Format Mirrorless Digital Camera. This camera is designed to inspire with its full-frame image quality, depth, and dynamic range. The camera's autofocus is powered by advanced Deep Learning technology, ensuring astounding low-light performance and image stabilization.
Experience the versatility of a full-frame Nikon sensor, which allows for more light capture, smoother bokeh, richer color tones, and wider views. The camera's powerful performance is driven by EXPEED 7, the latest in image processing technology, which is 10x faster than previous generations of EXPEED image processing. This technology is enhanced by sophisticated Deep Learning technology, the same powerful processing engine used in the Z 9 and Z 8 models.
The Z f's autofocus system recognizes a wide range of common subjects, from people and pets to vehicles and aircraft. It uses Deep Learning technology to provide the right focus and tracking for each subject. The camera also features Eye-Detection AF for photos and videos, automatically locking onto the eyes of subjects, even when they're small in the frame. This feature is also available for manual focus lenses, automatically magnifying the area around the eyes for quick sharp focus confirmation.
Capture high-speed moments with up to 30 fps using the silent electronic shutter, or 14 fps continuous shooting using the mechanical shutter. The camera also offers a Pre-Release Capture feature, recording the moments before you press the shutter release button, ensuring you never miss a shot.
The Z f's Deep Learning technology also enhances Auto Mode, analyzing your shooting situation and automatically adjusting aperture, ISO, and shutter speed to match your intentions. This allows you to automatically capture portraits with beautiful background blur or have all the faces in focus for a group shot.
The camera takes low light performance to a new high with the widest ISO range among Z Series Cameras. It offers ISO 100-64,000 for stills with low noise across the entire range and ISO 100-51,200 for video. The camera also features AF Detection Down to -10 EV, the lowest of any Z series camera, allowing it to detect faces and even eyes in extremely dark scenes.
The Z f also offers 8.0 stops of 5-axis VR image stabilization, allowing you to slow your shutter speed an amazing 8.0 stops slower than would otherwise be possible without causing image blur. It also features the world's first focus-point stabilization, applying stabilization to the area around the active focus point, providing precise correction right where you need it.
The camera is designed with built-in creativity features, including a dedicated Black & White Mode, 96MP Ultra-High Resolution Stills, and Picture Controls & Creative Picture Controls. It also offers flexible video options, including crisp footage up to 4K/60p captured in-camera, 4K/30p oversampled from 6K, and over 2 hours of continuous recording.
The Z f Mirrorless Camera comes bundled with the NIKKOR Z 40mm f/2 SE Lens, a compact and fast prime lens with a cool retro design. This lens offers bright, natural views, beautiful bokeh, and a stylish point of view on any Z series camera. It's great for shooting in low light, getting in close, and creating dramatic depth with its shallow depth of field. The lens is also great for video, with suppressed focus breathing, near-silent autofocus, and a 9-rounded-blade iris that can be smoothly opened and closed using the click-less control ring.
