Like everything else Shooting animals has it's challenges, it only takes an instant for something to go wrong. Knowing your covered for whatever happens takes the worry out of the equation. Bottom line it's worth every penny.

My experience was horrible! I would not purchase any warranty from New Leave although I have purchased 8. I finally had a claim. After several calls, emails and messages I turned down. I purchased the repair warranty with drops and spills coverage. They have several loopholes "mishandling" if you drop it they can just claim it was mishandled. If it gets wet they can claim "no emersion" or "no foreign objects" water, sand, rocks are all foreign objects. If you want a working device you will need to wait 3 1/2 weeks for them to formally say "No" meanwhile if you take it to any service center even the manufacture they will claim "Unauthorized repairs" even if they use the same facility to repair the item. I believe in having peace of mind coverage, but I have learned New Leaf is a false peace of mind if you need to use it. ***** Do Not Buy New Leaf warranties****

I bought my first box of photo paper from Adorama in 1997. Since then I have rented from them and purchased many different products from them. From Strobes to cameras I have always been happy with Adorama. I would strongly suggest avoiding this warranty plan. They tell you to read the fine print when you call, and suggest they will bill you for the phone call. They never get back to you, and truly the accidental damage is totally there call. Do your self a favor and STAY AWAY!!!!

A must for DSLR protection , I would never consider purchasing a quality item with this additional protection , one repair cost can easily exceed the cost of this insurance .

They finally paid in full but tried to claim the damage was my leaving my camera unprotected. (it was an accidental drop while inside a padded camera bag). Their coverage is good just be ready for them to try invalidating your claim. Adorama was a great help once I informed them of the problem.

I got this coverage when I purchased the Nikon D500 DX-format Digital SLR Sports and Wildlife Kit. It seems like a good value for the coverage offered. I have not needed to use it yet so I can't offer any input on that process.
