I bought the camera and lens either the 5 year protection. The cost and policy is reasonable. The only downs it is it is a third party that you need to contact to ge a copy of the warrantee. But that no biggie.

When I bought my Fujifilm X100v, it only came with a limited warranty..a good one, but I felt the need for a long term protection plan. That is why I opted for the New leaf Accidental plan. It will keep my camera safe and secure for 5 years. I would suggest it to anyone for additional, long range coverage.

I just purchased this warranty. For cameras and lenses, I really do think it's best to add a warranty, b/c we use them every day and the odds of dropping them are high. Better safe than sorry.

How can you not make this a 5-star review?!... You get your investment covered! You never know what's going to happen out there if your out shooting pics and someone else can just bump you while you're doing some street photography, a crazy beast in the woods flies out at you and scares you and it's huge claws crack your lens while your doing some landscape photography, bridezilla jumping out at you and knocks the camera out of your hand during a wedding shoot and you realize... I'm so glad I got the New Lead PLUS service plan... pheeewww!

This is a great add on to your equipment! Never say never. Anything could happen and you'd be so happy to have this New Leaf - 5 Year Digital Camera Service Plan with Accidental Damage Coverage (for Drops & Spills) . $134 for 5 years. It only costs you $26.80 per year. And make you even feel better? It only costs you $2.23 per month. I'd rather pay this over going to Starbucks!

I have not had to make any claim on the camera warranty I just purchased, but I trust Adorama to offer a reliable warranty service, and the terms look like just what I want. It includes accidental damage as well as basic coverage on the Sony RX10 iv camera I just bought. Hopefully, I won't even have to use it, but one never knows!

Purchased the Leaf Plus 5 yr extended warranty for the camera purchased for my daughter at Christmas. Did a lot of research. Seems to be the best warranty out there. There are other stand alone warrantees that a person can purchase (some slightly cheaper), but the reviews are horrible... = equivalent of no warranty at all. As always, with this and other warrantees, read the fine print... there are warranty terms on who can be handling camera, etc at the time of accident in order to qualify for coverage. Make sure you read and brief your new camera owner. Good luck!

I dropped my $1500 Tamron lens on a Friday, filed my claim on a Saturday, and shipped it out on a Monday. A week later it was back from the shop. Repaired, cleaned and performing like it was brand new. My only out of pocket with the $ for shipping. A huge bargain! I'd recommend New Leaf Accidental Damage Coverage to everyone.

I just had a practically brand new Nikon D7200 with 18-140mm VR zoom lens and Nikon SB-500 flash unit totally ruined by total immersion in a river. This outfit was uninsured. So I was forced to replace with an identical new camera, lens, and flash but THIS time around I wanted to be sure I was insured against accidental damages including spills and drops, so I got the Leaf Plus-5 year service plan. This plan will not protect against total immersion in a body of water, but I feel much better having it.
