Wise to have coverage for complex photographic equipment. May not ever break, but if it does .. the cost may be too high if you have to pay out of pocket bc you did not get Leaf coverage. Just sayin'...

The Profoto A1x is a solid flash system that is a must have in any professional’s camera bag. Charge battery and go and super easy to use. Even if you don’t use an on-camera flash, this beast is wonderfull as an off-camera single source light. Be sure to grab the different modifiers for this unit as well.

The Flashpoint flash arrived on time and in good condition. One issue I had with the shipping was that it was shipped in a padded envelope, instead of a sturdy box. Kind of cheep cheep! However, the unit was not damaged. The instruction manual, while small, was well written-in English-and was well illustrated. the padded carrying pouch is well designed with a pocket for the flash stand/tripod mount. I haven't used the flash much yet, but It feels very sturdy and well built. I plan to add a radio transmitter so I can use it off camera. I highly recommend FlashPoint!

So glad I have it these warranties. My old light I bought from Adorama some one at location bumpbed into it and smashed the bulb and wrecked the housing. The extra warranty covered it all no muss no fuss!

I gave this two stars for a few reasons. #1) it’s expensive and it says it shipped to me but you actually download it... I was confused #2) I don't like how you have to pay to ship the item back. Which is expensive #3) It takes a long time to be down a light.

Get the coverage. It is as simple as that! When you consider to buy an extended warranty for your product or not, know this - it's now "if" it will happen, but "when" it will happen, because it doesn't matter how cautious you are - accidents happen. And trust you me - they happen in a worst possible time. I was waiting for my claim for the repair of my Nikon D4S to go through to decide if I'll buy the same warranty for my lights - guess what?! I didn't wait for long. My camera was back in my hands repaired before my next wedding in a middle of a wedding season.

Good experience with a recent claim. Had to pay to ship the item to be examined, but claim processed quickly and received a brand new replacement strobe. Worth the investment.

This product assisted in making it a lot easier to photograph in certain conditions. It came in very useful when shooting a wedding on a yacht around 7pm and had to take a shot from the send deck of the ship as the couple posed at the bow of the ship. I was able to spot light them from my position using this product while keeping the beautiful evening skies.
