Because camera equipment is expensive and you do not want to have to go without a device for an extended period, I purchase the insurance just in case. I have never had to file a claim because I trust both the new and used items that I purchase from Adorama.

Bought a Flashpoint 360 with this so called "2 year warranty". Now, after 5 months the flash is acting up. When I went to make a claim with New Leaf, their site said I had to go through FLASHPOINT for the manufacturer's warranty. Not pleased.

I have not used the product long enough to have a thorough review so i put a 3 stars conservatively. The Flashpoint streaklight has good build quality so I'm not sure if I will use the 2 year extra warranty especially how careful I am with my equipment. I just hope I can easily claim with this warranty and the customer service will be good that Adorama will not give me a hard time when it comes. Saying this, I think its a good amount for a 2 year coverage!

The certificate did not have the correct model # of the main item or the correct price paid for the flash being covered with this service plan and I requested it be corrected. The price was corrected but not the model #. I hope this service plan doesn't give me problems if I need to use it.
