I ordered the Canon 1D X Mark II refurbished with only 8,500 frames taken on it. It arrived in an Adorama brown packaging box with plenty of bubble wrap around the camera and it's accessories providing complete protection. The camera was in superb condition; no visible signs of use!! Since the paper manual wasn't included in my package, I called to request one and received in 3 days at N/C. I've just started shooting test pics with it and so far everything about is very nice.

I am a long-time Leica fan, starting from the film and rangefinder era, now recently purchased a Leica Q. In between, I've ventured to the Lumix for its Leica lens with smaller price tag. My main photographic project involves shooting macros at wide angle, and in fact, there are very few choices with large sensors to take this to the next level! Thus, the Leica Q. I would say that my Adorama purchasing experience was top notch (thank you, Sy). And the Leica is technically excellent in so many ways. I would also say, however, that there is a design fault in making the focus lines so faint, to the point that I cannot see it turn green, 'locked' into focus, while out of doors. And also, it was surprising that the macro doesn't get as close as my previous micro 4/3 sensor camera, so that's a shame. I get the math however -- just wish there was a way to get back to my 2 or 3'inch kind of close-up work. Thank you, Adorama!
