Easy to purchase and protection against accidental spills & damages.

I bought this three year extended warranty & protection against accidental damage & spills for my Sony PXW-Z190 camcorder I also purchased from Adorama. For the price of the service plan it is a good deal. Although I have not had to use and hope that I never have to use this plan it is always a good thing to have an accidental drops & spills with an extended service plan; especially on a $ camcorder. I don't even want to imagine what would happen if I dropped my camcorder or had it on a tripod at a convention in a crowded hallway and someone not paying attention runs into my or the tripod and knocks my camcorder over, breaking it in the process. With this plan I am covered against everything except intentional damage and/or loss. So, all-in-all, I think this is definitely worth the price for three years of worry free operation. By the time the contract is up, I'll probably be ready to trade this in and buy the newest comparable or upgraded tech.
