The DSP-controlled electronics ensure a linear phase response and facilitate room-adaptive calibration using Neumann's innovative MA 1 Automatic Monitor Alignment system.The KH 150 adheres to Neumann's philosophy of providing the highest linearity, minimal distortion, zero coloration, and perfect adaptability to any acoustic environment. This studio monitor allows you to discern every detail of your tracks, making the mixing process faster, easier, and more creative.What sets the KH 150 apart from its counterparts is its deep bass response that reaches down to 39 Hz, almost matching the larger KH 310. This is achieved through the KH 150's unique 6.5'' high-precision woofer in a meticulously designed bass reflex cabinet. With its powerful amplifiers (145 W/100 W) and advanced protection limiters, the KH 150 maintains clarity even at high SPLs, making it ideal for a wide range of music genres, broadcast applications, and voice-over work.The KH 150 boasts an impressively linear frequency response from 39 Hz to 21 kHz ( +/-3 dB), and also linearizes the phase response. This results in clear mids with remarkable transparency and extreme accuracy in the time domain, ensuring precise impulse reproduction and finely resolved reverbs. The internal DSP also sets new standards in tonal consistency, as the KH 150 is made to extremely low tolerances of no more than +/- 0.8 dB, offering razor-sharp stereo imaging.The KH 150 is designed to adapt to your room's acoustics. Neumann's Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide ensures a wide sweet spot and minimizes desk reflections. Moreover, its internal DSP allows for room calibration using Neumann's revolutionary Automatic Monitor Alignment system, resulting in significant improvements even in acoustically treated rooms.The KH 150 AES67 variant comes with integrated redundant AES67 audio network ports that comply with broadcast standards such as ST2110, ST 2022-7 redundancy, and RAVENNA. It is also compatible with DANTE-generated AES67 network streams.Neumann's patent-pending amplifier technology combines superior audio performance with Class D energy efficiency. Despite the KH150's amplifiers delivering up to 145W to the 6.5'' woofer and 100 W to the 1'' tweeter, they only consume 17W at idle. An optional auto-standby mode can further reduce power consumption to 0.3 W when the KH150 is not in use.The KH 150 is perfect for recording, broadcasting, music creation, and mastering, making it a versatile addition to any professional audio setup.
