Norman 5E-RP Reflector with the RP1 Diffusion Dome. Type 1 for use with LH500/LH500+ LH200/LH2400s

The Norman 5E-RP consists of a 10" diameter, 60o coverage 5E Reflector (with new improved interior finish) and an RP-1 Diffusion Dome. It's high-efficiency parabolic shape (1.5-stop gain over bare bulb), small size and even coverage make it ideal for low-key portraiture where skin texture and sparkle is required. The 5E-RP is also compact and handy as an on-location travel light as it fits into our C800 and C24/24 Carrying Cases.

The RP-1 Diffusion Dome is user-removable from the reflector: With the RP-1 in place, the coverage angle is increased to 80o, the light is softened and the flashtube and modeling lamp outputs are integrated so that what you see via the modeling lamp is precisely what you get from the flashtube, making the 5E-RP especially handy when using these 10" diameter Norman light modifiers; BD410 Barn Doors, GH10 Grid Holder with G10 Circular Grids and G10 Square Grids with filter slot.

With the RP-1 removed, light output is increased by 6/10-stop, thereby maximizing the light output for use with umbrellas and bounce flats.

The 5E-RP fits all Norman studio lampheads, including; LH500, LH500B, LH500B+, LH2000, LH2000B, LH2400, LH2400B, IL2500 Illuminator and the LH4000 Dual Cable High-Output Lamphead. It is also used with our discontinued LH4 and LH54 lampheads. Please note that the 5E-RP requires that the lamphead have fan cooling when used with our quartz modeling lamps.
