Norman A400B 400Ws One-Light Basic Kit

The Norman A400B Battery Portable Assembly includes a P400B (400 w-s) Power Supply with R4127 Shoulder Strap, two B5122 Super Batteries, SC-400B Dual Charger, LH52K Lamphead and a 2D reflector.

It is one of the finest 400 w-s battery portable flash unit in the industry.

The A400B-M Assembly with modeling lamp is also available and we have three 200 w-s battery portable assemblies; A200C Assembly, A200C-M with modeling lamphead, and A200C-LS Light Sphere Assembly (bare bulb).

The Norman P400B is a 400 w-s battery-operated flash power supply that is generally sold with the A400B or A400B-M assembly. It accepts Norman Series 500 lampheads including the LH52K with 5' coil cord (standard) and LH52K-M with modeling lamp circuit.

Norman believes that the P400B is the highest quality 400 w-s flash power supply on today's market. Its all-aluminum housing is rugged and compact and it can be worn either over-the-shoulder or around the waist. Optional for the P400B is a high-quality R4107 shoulder strap with contour pad that hugs the shoulder. Remove the pad and the strap ends hook together to hang the pack on a stand or on a door knob. The optional R4122 leather belt is used to wear the P400B around the waist.

The unit features four power levels, quick recycling, voltage stabilized output, heavy-duty industrial lamphead connector and a low-battery light that warns the photographer when about 10 full power flashes are remaining. It accepts two of our new B5122 Super Battery which boosts the number of flashes from the P400B by about 25%. The C55x2 "Delta V" Battery Charger is required to provide added battery life and performance. (Batteries and charger not included with P400B, unless ordered as a complete assembly; A400B and A400B-M.

The LH52K is our lamphead for the A400C Battery Portable flash unit. It operates on all Series 500 Norman power supplies that we have made over the years including the P404, and P808 models.

Included with the LH52K is an FT400-UV plug-in Flashtube with UV filtration and a 5' Coil Cord with vinyl jacket that won't crack or split.

Reflectors for the LH52K include our 2D general purpose, 2D-RP with built-in diffusion dome, 2H telephoto sports and 2Q general purpose with 150w quartz modeling lamp.

The LH52K has a standard 20 tapped hole on the bottom to accept practically all brands of camera brackets. The Norman R4108 and R4130 Umbrella Stand Adapters attach the LH2K to a light stand.
