Excellent cheap, soft light. For its transportability and price, this gives ample light, especially for home video and photo use. The minus one star is because the power dial isn't really linear. The light actually comes on when the nob is turned to around 10-15% or so, and then at the higher end, the light doesn't increase as much. Not really a big deal because I never use the light at its lowest and highest end.
