With the growing demand for more refined lighting in film and television production, higher efficiency, greater creative freedom, and a safer working environment are becoming key priorities on set. To meet these demands, Nanlux has developed this motorized yoke for the Evoke 5000B/2400B, enabling faster, easier, and safer lighting adjustments on set.
The motorized yoke allows precise fixture angle adjustment via motors, changing manual operation with remote motorized control. This significantly reduces physical workload while making lighting adjustments more efficient and flexible, and enhances control and safety on set. In addition, the yoke features an IP66 rating, ensuring reliable operation with Evoke 5000B/2400B under any condition.
Dual-Axis, Wide-Angle, Stable Movement
The motorized yoke features a pan and tilt dual-axis design with ample range on both axes, allowing a wider range of angle adjustments while keeping the fixture in its set position and avoiding frequent repositioning caused by limited adjustment range. While allowing flexible lighting setups, this motorized yoke adjusts angles at a smooth speed, ensuring safe operation.
Safe and Reliable with Stable Control
This motorized yoke is designed to meet the core needs of professional production, focusing on safe operation and stable control.
Magnesium Alloy + IP66
The yoke is made of magnesium alloy, providing excellent payload while maintaining a great balance between strength and weight. It can securely support heavy setups such as the Evoke 5000B paired with FL-45E for long-term use. The entire yoke is rated IP66, allowing reliable operation with Evokes in storm, sand, dust, and other challenging environments.
Designed with stability in mind
The tilt axis motor delivers a maximum torque of 40N.m, allowing smooth adjustment even under heavy payload while maintaining the set angle. The internal structure features a self-locking mechanism, which secures the yoke in position after adjustments or when powered off, preventing accidental rotation due to fixture weight.
Additionally, in case to handle unusual situation, the motorized yoke's tilt axis provides an option of manual adjustment. Simply use the included T-handle to operate the internal worm gear and adjust the quick release plate to its initial angle, preventing extra effort when detaching the fixtures.
Flexible Installation, Quick Setup
The motorized yoke supports mounting on the light stand and hanging on the truss, allowing flexible deployment to meet diverse needs on set:
Mounting on the Light Stand
For light stand setups, it can be directly installed onto a light stand with a junior pin receiver.
Hanging on the Truss
For truss setups, it can be installed on trusses up to 60mm in diameter using the included truss adapter.
Installing the fixture with the motorized yoke is effortless
When installing the Evoke 5000B, install the yoke's quick release plate into the fixture's quick release plate base, then plug the extension cable into the EXT port on the fixture to complete the installation.
When installing the Evoke 2400B, the quick release adapters must be installed first. Then connect the yoke's extension cable to the fixture's DMX IN port by using the included DMX adapter cable to complete the installation.
Multiple Control Methods
The motorized yoke features an integrated control box at its base, combining a control interface, wireless control module, and wired control ports, providing the hardware foundation for on-board control as well as connection with various control systems. Once the fixture and the motorized yoke are connected, the communication will be established, allowing users to control both fixture and yoke parameters through a console or other control devices, simplifying operation on set.
On-board Control
The yoke supports multiple options of angle adjustments and return to center operation, with shortcut buttons for more simplified control. The shortcut buttons allow angle adjustment with one press, while the CENTER button can return the yoke to the preset position (Pan = 0 deg) Tilt = 0 Degree), making fixture installation and detachment more convenient.
Wired Controller Control
The motorized yoke can be connected to the WS-EXT wired controller for independent control. Once the motorized yoke establishes communication with a fixture equipped with an EXT port, the wired controller can also be used to control the fixture.
DMX/RDM Control
The control box is equipped with two 5-pin XLR ports, DMX IN and DMX OUT, allowing the yoke to connect to lighting control systems via DMX/RDM, and enabling centralized control and management of on-set equipment from the console.
Art-Net&sACN Control
The control box is equipped with two LAN ports, allowing the yoke to connect to lighting control systems via a wired network, and enabling longer-distance signal transmission compared to XLR cables.
NANLINK APP Control
The motorized yoke can be added to NANLINK APP 2.0 via Bluetooth, allowing wireless motorized adjustment of the pan and tilt axes.
Lumen Radio CRMX
The yoke can connect to the CRMX ecosystem, providing flexible and reliable wireless DMX control, ideal for setups where running cables is inconvenient and stable control is essential.
