Stay in Your Flow   Launchpad Pro is much more than an instrument: it also gives you slick, immediate access to all your mixer controls mid-performance, so you stay in your flow. There's no need to enter a separate mixer mode; simply press and hold a mixer function button (like mute or volume), make a change, and then release the button to drop straight back into your performance.   Stay in Control of Everything   Control your effects, instrument devices and plug-ins mid-performance to add engaging, expressive effects. For super smooth effect transitions, the button grid also turns into eight velocity-sensitive vertical faders, with LED feedback - the harder you hit the pad, the faster the transition.   Scale Mode   Never hit a wrong note again! With the Scale function, simply press Launchpad Pro's Shift and Note buttons, then choose from a roster of 32 keys and modes, from major and minor, through phrygian, whole tone, bebop minor, iwato, etc. Once selected, Launchpad Pro's 64 velocity- and pressure-sensitive pads will assign themselves contiguously to only the notes of the selected scale, removing all the rest. Bought this for my kids for Xmas. They are 4, 5 and 6 years old and already have piano and drum lessons. My kids are total tech junkies so I figured this would be a great and visually entertaining way of further developing a passion for electronic music and production. It definitely accomplishes this. Bit of a learning curve to this but a few YouTube videos and you’ll be just fine. Amazing how far technology has come since my 20 year old midi synths....

Awesome powerful instrument

After unpacking the unit I was a little overwhelmed on how to use it. I stared at it, and it stared back at me. It was an awkward first time, but as we got to know each other, things started to flow much more smoothly.
Even now without much experience, I already love how I can try out ideas quickly and iterate over them with the Launchpad. I wish I had bought one sooner.

Fun and expressive instrument

I recently got started with Ableton Live and the Launchpad Pro opens up new possibilities.  This is VERY cool.

Fantastic addition to Ableton Live

Been researching a lot of controllers and finally landed on this one. Played with it for a bit and discovered there is a learning curve but nothing you can't learn with tutorials and practice. It's now super fun to play with. Gives you a lot of control. Best investment I've made recently.
