As a Nomatic Supporter and owner of their superb 35L McKinnon Backpack, I expected the same high quality construction and comfort from this Nomatic McKinnon 8L Camera Sling, While it is made of high quality materials and seems quite durable, I found a few small issues that prevent a 5 Star rating... The main "issue" I found is that the "8L" capacity rating is, at least for me, a bit misleading. For example, I have a small APS-C kit (Fuji X-H2 with Leofoto L-bracket, Fuji XF16-80 f/4, and a Sigma X 10-18 f/2.8, with 2 extra batteries), all of which I expected to easily fit. While I CAN fit the aforementioned kit into this sling, I must invert the XF16-80 lens hood in order to accommodate the small Sigma 10-18. Thus, I must take the camera with XF16-80 out, and reverse the lens hood prior to shooting. OTOH, my 6L Peak Design Everyday Sling CAN accommodate the same kit WITH the XF16-80 lens hood in correct position ready to use, plus holding the small XF30 f/2.8 Macro lens as well. So, I'm baffled as to why a 6L sling can seemingly hold more gear than an 8L sling. Other than this size discrepancy, the Nomatic McKinnon 8L Camera Sling is a well made bag.

Seems very well made so I don't expect it to fall apart anytime soon. I plan to use it during trips, as a tourist.

I was looking for a bag large enough to hold a Nikon Z6ii mirrorless camera with a 24-70 f4 lens and some accessories. This bag is just the right size. It is lightweight and easy to access. If I'm out for a day of photography I use a lightweight day pack to carry water, food, extra clothing, a lightweight tripod, extra lenses, etc.
