Works just great.
This is just what I needed to make an auxiliary sight for my 500mm lens to use for birds in flight. I used a short piece of rail screwed onto some bent aluminium. It mounts to the left of the camera so my left eye is looking through the sight, while my right eye is looking through the viewfinder.. It's a game changer.
