About NatureScapes NSN-GSP-55

The NatureScapes Safety Plate is designed for the Gitzo GT5541LS and GT1548 tripods. It provides additional support to the tripods top plate, in-order to safely carry the tripod over the shoulder with a camera, telephoto lens, teleconverter and flash attached. The plate is manufactured using aerospace industry 6061 anodized aluminum, along with two stainless steel bolts. It fits perfectly and snugly below the existing Gitzo plate, inside the "basin". Once installed, the Gitzo plate cannot move or loosen, therefore preventing the head and photo equipment from falling.

The GSP 55 comes with two screws for installation; both are 3/8 inch in diameter. The smaller screw is 1 1/4 inches long and the longer screw is 1 3/4 inch long.
