Sndguy S : I'm confused. My wife's laptop is a mac book pro early/mid 2009 and is aluminum finish. Will this battery work? The 15" ones from adorama specifically state which models they fit.ELLEN C : I can't tell you for sure, but I will say that this battery fit a Mac that I bought in 2007. It could be that your wife's is too new.

Excellent!

I bought this as a replacement to my failing OEM Macbook battery. It looks just like the factory fit battery that comes with the Macbook. Battery life is a tad bit longer than factory as claimed. My only complaint with this battery, even though it's set up exactly the same as the original, is that it's tough to fit into the slot. The fit is VERY tight (which can be good or bad) and can make it a little difficult to get in or out and makes it feel as if it's not seated correctly. Other than that minor thing, it's just what I needed!
