Novatron Studio Kit D1500 - 4 Head Kit with Case & Accessories

I received this kit about one month ago, and am so far very impressed. I live in foreign countries for a living, and moved to Bogota, Colombia about 18 months ago. I normally shoot outdoors with natural light and the help of reflectors, however, the crime rate in Bogota is so high that I don't dare wander around the city with my camera equipment. To compensate, I began shooting mainly indoors using window light and reflectors, but wanted to do more, so I began reading, and reading, and reading, about studio lighting. I purchased this kit as my first, and am extremely please with the results. My only complaint is that the kit did not come with detailed instructions, only a very (and I mean very) basic explaination on how to use it. I gave it four stars vice five only becuase of the lack of instructions, not because of its performance.

The Novatron 1500 watt kit has more than enough power to light up large group photos yet it is versatile enough to allow incredible macro photography. With lightning quick recycle times and consistent output, photographers of all levels can produce stunning results. This kit was very well thought out with necessary items like: darn doors to control your light, 25 foot power pack cables, and gel holders to add a little color to your layout. Go ahead and purchase this kit that was inspired by Scott Smith and you might produce some award winning photos too.
