This remote storage system supports a wide range of NLE platforms, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Avid Media Composer and ProTools, Apple Final Cut x, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve, and others. With the Sharebrowser and NDI Tools plugins for Adobe Premiere, coupled with NRS send-to-DDR functions, transitioning from live production to post-production and back has never been easier or faster.

The Vizrt NRS is built on NDI at its core, allowing users to preview, start, and stop NDI recordings with shared storage. It also enables editing of growing files during live capture, unlocking a complete NDI-enabled workflow from broadcast to post.

With the NRS8, you can preview each NDI source before recording the stream to shared storage, and record multiple sources simultaneously, in the same or different locations on the server.

The NRS8 also offers automatic transcoding of NDI recordings (SpeedHQ), BRAW, RED RAW, ARRIRAW, ProRes, and more. It also facilitates syncing and backing up your media to a secondary remote server or cloud storage, and transferring media across your networked storage.
