After extensive research and development, the NVD PVS-14 Gen 3 Night Vision Monocular Kit, featuring Elbit White Phosphor Thin Filmed technology, has emerged as a high-tech, durable, and reliable solution for advanced night vision. This innovative product is the current military-grade night vision equipment trusted by the US armed forces and a preferred choice for numerous foreign (NATO) forces.
The PVS-14 Night Vision Monocular is a testament to the advanced technology and superior craftsmanship of N-Vision Optics. It boasts a magnification of 1x, delivering clear and detailed images even in low light or dark conditions. This makes it an indispensable tool for military and law enforcement personnel, as well as outdoor enthusiasts like hunters and campers.
This versatile night vision monocular can be head or helmet-mounted, allowing the user to maintain their night-adapted vision in one eye while observing their surroundings through the illuminated eyepiece of the PVS-14. The innovative design includes a new battery housing that powers off the unit when in an upright position and powers on when flipped down.
One of the standout features of the PVS-14 is its ability to be weapon-mounted behind most collimated daylight aimers and Reflex sights such as the ACOG, Aimpoint, and EO Tech systems. This dual functionality allows the user to utilize their PVS-14 as a night vision monocular for increased mobility and tactical awareness, as well as a short-range weapon sight.
The PVS-14 also features gain control, giving the user the ability to increase or decrease the tube gain. This feature proves invaluable under extremely dark conditions, allowing the user to adjust the gain upward for a better image. Conversely, under high light conditions, lowering the system gain can prevent details from being washed out due to an excess of light.
Additional features include an infrared LED with LED indicator and a low battery indicator. The PVS-14 can be custom-built with Image Intensifiers from either Elbit Systems of America, Photonis, or L3Harris, including green and white phosphor and thin or un-filmed image tubes. This system complies with MIL-PRF-49324(CR), MIL-PRF-49427(CR), and MIL-STD-810G. With over one million systems fielded by the DOD and Armies worldwide, the PVS-14 stands as the best multi-functional night vision monocular available.
