Received it, thanks Adorama.
I use it for getting my macro setup (dual macro rails)as low to the ground as possible. With my camera and macro rig on the horizontal bar I attach the vertical bar to a Q-mount on my tripod off-center head. In some condition I need the sensor plane perpendicular to the ground and the tripod legs can't splay out completely flat so this set up I can get the camera low by adjusting the vertical bar on the Q-mount to its maximum position. My only complaint is in the design, it could have been more useful if it had arca type edges on both sides for multiple adpadter attachments.
