it has sound problems maybe i'm use to the old style had to return it the wife hate it also we are both retired and not use to a radio that you can't adjust the sound with bass and treble or a equalizer that's it in a nut shell.

I have the NAXA model NPB-257 and I use only to listen to MP3 music loaded on USB flash drives and it works great. Only limiting factor I've found is that will only recognize up to 99 folders , but each folder can have numerous selections in it. I purchased several 2GB flash drives and make sure I don't load more than 99 folders on them. Battery life seems limitless when playing USB input music. It does a great job of playing music in the shuttle mode.

Inexpensive way to listen to usb's with added disc player and radio. Does a great job of playing all of the music on the usb randomly and works on batteries

Good looking and features rich design. However, sounds are not that good at mid to high volume. It distorts a lot. If better speakers are used will definitely improve the sound.
