While the digital radio and sound quality are great I'm very disappointed in the remote performance

While the digital radio and sound quality are great I'm very disappointed in the remote performance. It's difficult to get the volume up and down fast enough. You just about have to be right on top of the unit in order to operate the remote. That was the whole point in getting a stereo with a remote. Otherwise, everything else is great!
