I bought this case along with some alpha glass from OtterBox about 2 weeks ago. The case so far has been great, although there is minimal screen protection from the side - the case relies on raised ends to grant protection. I've dropped the phone several times already and the case has done it's job well, without really scuffing itself up either. I have issues with the glass, but that shouldn't effect my scores and views on the case.

Fit perfectly for my S9. The volume, power, and bixby buttons felt so good. If protection is what you looking for, Otterbox is the perfect choice.

Ever since my first Otterbox purchase, I will not buy another brand again. They hold up and do exactly what they are supposed to. Other cases have popped off my phone or not protected as they should have. My only complaint is that the shell is a hard plastic so there is no grip when placing it on a hard surface (for example: it slides around my desk rather easily if I were to knock it by accident. If the shell had a grip like material like the inner casing (or at least a few lines along the back), then this would be a 5 star review.

This is my third otter box! When it is time to buy a new phone, the first thing I do is to check to see if there is a Otterbox Commuter for the phone that I want if not then I move on to a different phone. The only thing that was disappointing was there was only two colors to chose from

I am so used to the big otter boxes with built in screen protectors that I as still kinda scared that I will break this phone! But it is definitely more comfortable and easier to put in your pocket and if you get used to putting phone screen down it does have a anti slippery surface on that side.

Not too bulky, but enough material to feel safe. No screen protection, but none of them come with it. I am not sure if one could fit the alpha glass with this case, but I like it as is.

Fits the phone well and doesn't add bulk to where it's difficult to put in my back pocket or a dedicated phone pocket in a jacket or shorts. Would like to see a variety of other colors but other than that thumbs up.

Its great. Phone has been dropped a couple times already onto concrete, not a scratch. Although I dont like that it's not waterproof.

Good case, it is nice and slim, not as bulky like a defender case. Protects the phone very well even after a few 4-5 ft falls already.

I love the style and have for years. Slick back gets it in and out of your pocket easily. I like the light blue for the S9 series. It pops while still being classy.

The inner sleeve is bumpy around its bottom edge. Love love love the color. However, disappointed at the fact that there's no built-in screen protector attached to the case. I wouldn't recommend it. Yes, Otterbox, I know you sell glasses separately. But I consider not having a built in screen protector attached to the case a deal breaker. The 2 stars are for the sturdiness of the case. Have used Otterbox before for older Samsung phones and I loved them. They came with screen protectors.

This is the fourth Otterbox I have had. I keep buying them because they are the utmost in protection for my phones. I look at it as cheap insurance. I have not had a phone break when using Otterbox. And there have been plenty of opportunities for that to happen!

I love Otterbox and I've used them for years. But if there were another product with the reputation of Otterbox, I would consider using them, simply for the lack of options at Otterbox. I had to get a black case. Who wants simply black these days?
