I bought the case when I bought the phone and I have run it over with a skid loader and just a day or two ago I left it on the back of truck lost it but it was returned to me in the same shape as when I bought it lost it going 60 mph down the highway

I purchased this because I neeees a new case. The one I had was falling apart after 6 months. I like that it is not bulky and protects my phone well. I only wish it was water proof.

Otter box, life time warrently. Did not know this, found out after ordered another one, cause I love the defender box. Called back 3 hours later, my order was already on it's way. I spoke to a representative, she send me a free one to replace my old one and instructions to send the ordered one back. best service ever.... great product had for 8 years before replacement needed.

It will protect your phone, but here are the problems: Cover isn?t flush to phone: ? Dust and particles trapped under case so you have to remove it to clean it and your phone. ? Touch sensitivity off. Typos and other touch screen issues result. ? Protective cover over home button bubbles up and interferes with fingerprint sign-in.

I have had Otterbox Defender cases since the days of my iPhone 4 and now in the days of iPhone 12, I?m still hanging in there with my iPhone 7. I am now retired, from years of Over the Road trucking. I have never damaged any of my phones due to moisture, weather or dropping etc, and we are talking some 6 to 7ft drops climbing in and out of tractors. My only criticism is in regards to the holster clip. The one on my old iPhone 4 is still in good shape, but everyone of the clips for my plus phones over the years have had to be replaced multiple times. I began ordering replacement clips several at a time. I would like to see Otterbox use a less brittle plastic for their clips. As I read the comments in the reviews, I realized that I had forgotten about the Otterbox guarantees. Not sure if the holster clips are covered but holsters are relatively cheap to replace where as phones are not, and Otterbox Defenders have kept my phones safe since 2010. Now in retirement I know longer fear for my phones the hardships of trucking life. But reading reviews of the Commuter and Symmetry cases and some comments regarding the feel of them as a bit slippery, my current Defender?s rubber encasement has a secure feel and grips surfaces well. I think the Defender will be my Otterbox of choice for a long time to come.

This is not the first phone I have had an otterbox on. After this is will definitely not be my last. The second phone I had in an otterbox (it was an iPhone 6 fell out of my hand while I was riding a motorcycle doing 80 and got ran over. the only issue it had was the Bluetooth chip broke... it didn?t even crack back or front. This phone case I have had for 3 years not long in to having it the case did cracked but I kept using the case and it is in multiple pieces now the rubber outside is really what is keeping everything together. I am very prone to dropping phones and the only thing that is broken is the back of my phone. About a month ago someone reminded me about the warranty. I didn?t think they would replace my case with the fact I bought it so long ago. I put in my request and saw the email that my claim was being reviewed. Within a day they were sending me a new case! Everyone who says anything about case I always sing my praises of these cases. This only reinforces my love for these cases and this company.

I just wanted an all over case. It came with a holster which I will never use. I think that part is a waste. But I was unable to see from the web pages if the other cases were this same build.
