This is my 2nd otterbox for my 3rd ipod. You guessed it. ipod number 2 broke when it fell out of my pocket. Regretted that I had encased it in a sleek case that offered little protection. Had to buy a new device, and this time also bought a sturdy Otterbox to keep it safe.

But I love the IPod. If you aren?t going to invest in multiple colors, and I would not. Why not make the Defender clear?

I have used Otter Box products for quite some time. I have used this case for the better part of a month. Well made and attractive products. My main beef is that Otter Box does not produce all of their products in North America. (almost certain my case was made overseas) I would prefer to pay another $10-20 for a product made in a country with good worker and environmental protections. This is a premium product with a premium price, the price I do not dispute, but it would be nice if it was made stateside. That said, the quality of the case is excellent. Good protection for when I drop things. The screen protector is not very good. It is loose and you have to push pretty hard for positive contact. Since I have big thumbs it is already a bit difficult to get the right button on the screen and the cover does not help. I plant to remove the Otter Box integrated screen protector and replace it with another product. I am happy with my purchase.

I bought one of these years ago for my iPod 6th gen. I liked it so much I bought another when I recently got my iPod 7th gen. It works. Serves the purpose of protecting my device. Issue is I literally have to dig into the volume and power buttons with my fingernail to get them to work. Just something to keep in mind when buying this product.

I love the durability of these cases. I got my kids 7th gen iPods and needed something durable to survive tantrums and wildness of my crazy boys and the options are very limited. I appreciate the covers for the ports. My only complaint is that the plastic part of the case covers half of the home button so it?s very difficult to press-they need help every time and it?s difficult for my husband and I too.

The screen started separating on my newest iPod. I was so glad that a defender case was available. The attached screen on the case fit snuggly around my iPod and acted like a girdle holding the whole thing together. This happened to my other iPod as well, even though it is always handled carefully. I used a defender for that one over a year ago and it is still keeping it together. Thanks for the great products.

I first tried to call in my order......... nobody answered the phone. So I placed my order online, it went well and I didn't mind the price until I found it on Amazon for about half the cost. That shouldn't happen. Product fits well and all buttons work.

I have one situation with otter box . I had it facing down in my hand DVD than it dropped . The iPod did turn off once it hit the floor and it was not very high . I had to restart my iPod after. Do I am saying the otter box does not absorb all the shock from the floor drop.

I bought the Otterbox Ipod touch case (7th Gen) and in love with it. It fits fine and have zero issues with it. What I like about it the most is that I have a piece of mind that my Ipod touch has superior protection than all the other ipod touch cases out there and love how the ?punk? version of this case looks!

You’ll never find a better product to protect your expensive devices. I’ve used the defender series for all of my Apple devices and they have never failed to protect them from drops on all kinds of surfaces. Great product.

I ordered a new Otter Box for my new Ipod as I had one on my old Ipod and I loved it. When it arrived I unwrapped it and assembled it on the new Ipod. The screensaver is just slightly too big for the actual box and when assembled it buckles in the middle making it very annoying to try to use the touch screen. Also, the strap for it would not feed through the hole provided on the case. The weaved covering over the actual filament line inside the loop string kept tearing when I tried to feed it through no matter how I tried to do it. As happy as I was with my first couple of Otter Boxes I have owned, this one has been equally as disappointing.
