I’ve bought this case twice now.... works awesome! Well worth the money. I only bought another case because the clear part was getting scratched. The only problem with new case is where you can change to vibrate in your phone, the switch is loose and won’t work properly, but besides that, well worth it!

The clear back scratches very easily. The front housing also has a few issues where the foam gasket doesn’t sit cleanly. Protection very good overall.

I bought this but it did not seal properly on my phone. There is what I am assuming was a water tight seal, but on half of the phone it stuck out and the other half of the phone it was not seen. I am returning it because it is damaged and I still have to pay for the shipping to return it which doesn't seem right. Stick with the commuter series rather than this one.

I love that this case is super thin but durable. There are two design flaws, in my opinion. First there is a "switch" that is supposed to turn the mute button but it rarely works. The case also doesn't completely snap together around the volume buttons. I do love the colors and like I said, it is very thin but for the amount of money I paid for it, these other issues should be nonexistent.

I bought this case three weeks ago. It took almost two weeks for me to get the case. Once I got it it didn’t fit well. The button for the silent option doesn’t sit right with the closure. The case isn’t even on that part and I can only have the phone on silent since it’s better than having volume on at all times.

I just knew I would love this case! I had a Lifeproof case for months but the band kept coming off. So, I decided to switch to Otterbox. I’ve had this case for about 3 days and for some reason the black band on the top case is coming off. Like, I can actually feel the glue when I try to push it back on. I haven’t dropped it, so I don’t know what is going on.

Installed it properly, but the nite button wouldn’t work so I brought it to the otter box store and they replaced it for me no question. Ended up with the symmetry which has been working out great

Couldn’t seem to get the case open when we purchased it. Then we couldn’t get the case off, the bottom part is a rubber cover to protect the charging port well that fell off same day we purchased it.

I have bought otter box cases in the past, disappointed with the case, the silence/mute switch is not working I have tried to align the button like the video says and it still does not work! Highly dissatisfied!

The case itself is nice but as so many have mentioned the ringer toggle switch is poorly designed. I can make it work maybe 1 in 10 times.

Had it for two months now, and combined it with the Otter Box screen protector. dropped the phone several times and no issues. The ringer on/off switch that others complain about was no problem. A little knowledge goes a long way there. My only complaint: the case is too smooth and is part of the reason I’ve dropped the phone. I added a silicone credit card holder/sleeve to the back and that has helped. I may cut one up to add to the sides for extra grip. Hey Otter Box, there’s a marketing idea for you; you’re welcome.

At the time of this review over on the case for approximately a month. First the good: The pursuit case is built like a fort. Virtually every opening of the phone is sealed in someway. The star of the show is that the mute switch is isolated under cover that also serves as a rotary switch to actually it. Anyone who is had an iPhone 6 or later knows how often those phones mute themselves almost by magic. what’s the mute switch covered the problem is eliminated. Unfortunately for those who do not yet have an iPhone X the pursuit case only comes for that phone as yet . I hope that OtterBox will have the wisdom to add the cover news which feature two other cases or make the pursuit case available in other configurations. The bad: The case is not an easy install. This is particularly true when trying to make the rotary switch on the case to the mate with the switch the phone. That part is an exercise in patience and persistence but very much worth it. Result is a handsome case that serves user well. One final note: A simple flap over the mute switch, similar to the one over the charging port, would have sufficed and made the installation easier.

I ordered this for my new iphone and it didn't seem to fit. I called OtterBiox and true to form, they shipped me a new one, which worked perfectly! It is much slimmer than the Defender I have used for years and I love the had strap.

I have always been a satisfied Otterbox "Defender" customer. With the purchase of my new i-Phone X I decided to try the Pursuit due to sleek design. It was difficult to put on my phone and also a piece near the microphone was damaged and interfered with the speaker, not sure if it was a result of trying to place my phone in the case or if it I received damaged. I contacted Otterbox and now have the "Defender" (I give 5 stars) which I believe provides the best protection to my i-Phone X.

The mute button design on the product is a nightmare. It’s very hard to install the phone and have the button work. There are also zero instructions on the proper proceedure, and even that may not work. My mute button even installed correctly only works part of the time. Hopefully this design glitch will be fixed because other than that tiny but important factor it’s a great box.

I was looking for a minimalistic case that would truly protect my all glass phone, but that did NOT come with a screen protector because I already have a great one installed on my phone. I took a leap of faith with this purchase after purchasing another otterbox case that I was not impressed with and after reading the other reviews on this case. I am not sure why people had such an incredibly hard time assembling the case. It took a total of 20 seconds to assemble. I also like how the speaker port projects the sound to the front of the phone instead of the bottom. It makes the sound so clear. This case stays true to it's claim. It is truly thin and extremely durable. I am so happy with this sleek case.

I bought this case a little over a month and I’m not happy with it whatsoever. I feel like the quality of what otter box usually makes compared to this is not the same. I have bought otter box cases my whole life. When I got the new iPhone X I was excited to buy one of your cases for it. I bought the pursuit case because I really liked how it looked and how it would protect my phone. Within a day of having the case on my phone the rubber seal around the end of the entire phone doesn’t lay right underneath the case. It constantly pushes out and when you stick it back under the case the rubber starts to fall apart and flake off everywhere. I emailed otter box regarding the situation and they sent me another case. This new case is now doing the same thing. I’m not happy about it at all. I really don’t think I’ll be buying otter box products anymore.

I am a long time Defender Case purchaser for my entire family and work Apple products. This case is one of the most difficult to get the phone into so all of the buttons work. The ringer on/off switch does not engage the case’s switch sufficiently enough to operate properly. Now the case rubber around the screen area is coming off the case. I wanted a little more compact case, I could have spent a third of the cost of this case and received higher quality. This case is not even a month old. Do not waste your money on this case.

I received my first case and never could get it to snap completely together. Calling customer service they immediately sent a new one, stating that sometimes an issue like heat can impact the rubber case shape. The second case was somewhat better, but still not a perfect fit. I will use it because I have had Otterbox cases for years and they have served me well!
