I realize that the cost-even on sale- of this item is a little high, but after I received it and installed it on my brand new iPad Air I'm 100% certain that this was worth every penny! It's sturdy, light but strong and attractive. I got the light gray one on sale at $60. It's not too light or dark. My iPad stands up sturdy even on an upholstered couch arm. Highly recommend no matter the color. Function is key!

This is one instance when you should listen to reviewers. I didn't, and within 3 months bought a Logitech case. This case is garbage for the price- hard to open, the pen case is so easy to accidentally dislodge, yet difficult to reattach, and stand mechanisms are faulty. They easily slide and give way, slamming your iPad against whatever surface it's on. I would move along and look at other brands.

I'm not crazy about this folio. It doesn't seem as though the flap will stay closed to protect my screen very well if it were to drop. I think I'll go back to my old otterbox case (the regular 360, but not Elite) or order a new one, as it closes more securely with a magnetic closure. My older case seems more sturdy, too. The 360 elite seems I be more cheaply made.

Poor quality and backing scratches super easily. The stand does not keep the iPad up and will fall at times. Unable to return due to using a promo code and OtterBox refuses to exchange or help with situation.

I just received this and have only put it on my iPad. For the price I paid for a cover I expect it to fit, not have a floppy corner that doesn?t actually cover the iPad corner. I purchased a $15 no-name cover from Amazon that fits better than this. Maybe this is the real reason I?ve never actually spent the money on an OtterBox for any other purpose. Not happy.

Super sad to say, my iPad slipped off a chair while wearing this case and the screen cracked despite it being closed and a small fall. Very very dissappointed and costly for as the iPad wasn?t a year old and I didn?t buy a warranty because I?ve always had great cases.

I've been using Otterbox products for my phones and tablets for quite a few years and have always been impressed with the features and level of protection. Unfortunately, the Symmetry case that I purchased for my new iPad Air has been less than impressive. I find it hard to hold/handle, and the edge is so soft and flexible that it is difficult to grip securely. I travel quite a bit, and I am not confident that it will survive. More importantly, I'm not confident that my iPad will.

I bought this case because it was so highly recommended by places like Wired. I should have the reviews. The upper right hand corner will not stay on the case, as nearly 1/2 the reviews here indicate. That corner is completely vulnerable. Given that the reviews saying this go back over 10 months, I?m really surprised that a company like Otterbox, which is known for having reliable cases, has done nothing to remedy the problem. Despite the number of reviews that mention this, OB?s replies consistently say how surprising it is to learn of this product. Based on my conversations with customer service. Janky fit at the corner by the lock/volume control. Cover and stand functions ok, but not as good as the Apple covers. Frankly I?m disappointed in this item, I expected better from Otterbox.

I bought this case for my iPad Air 4 and the rubber between the Touch ID and camera cutoff is always coming off plus it caused cosmetic damage to it like a small dent near the power button. Someone has to pay for this. I?m not happy about it at all.

The camera corner is very flimsy and not staying on, keep in mind I only had it on for a few minutes but the corner kept gliding out of the case, and the whole point with a case is too protect the iPad wright? This is not it

I was given the After Dark case for my birthday with my iPad and it?s only been about a month and this case is already giving me issues. It keeps popping off my iPad around the Touch ID area. I tried to do the warranty for it but I wasn?t about to find it on there.

I've always been an Otterbox fan but this case is a poor design.The problem is that the corner of the case with the Power and Volume buttons has no plastic support on the backside and the soft rubber doesn't provide a good fit. There is a gap between the case and the iPad which will eventually get worse and offer little protection. Very disappointing...

I?ve had the Otterbox Symmetry for my previous iPads and use the Symmetry on my phone as well and it used to be the perfect iPad case. For the iPad Air 4 the case is awesome except for one fatal flaw. The design of the top corner (near the Touch ID) is horrible. The Touch ID button is left totally open, which is fine for that purpose, however what it also means is that the soft rubber corner has no real connection to the rest of the case. Thus, coming off in that corner of the case constantly! Doesn?t bode well for the fit of the case nor for potential corner drops with a case that doesn?t fit in the corner. The added bonus of this case is when looking to return the case ... I?m being forced to pay for return international shipping (from Canada)! Almost makes the return useless. Really disappointed in Otterbox dropping the ball on this case all around.

This is my second one in a month. The first one was one was very loose fitting, but customer service was great. They sent me a new one right away. The second one is much more snug, but the upper corner doesn?t stay on. It pops off as soon has I press it back on. It drives my OCD nuts!

I bought this case back when the iPad Air 4 was released, and I haven’t been able to use it. I legitimately feel like I am going to crack my iPad screen trying to get this case on my iPad Air 4 given how snug it is and how much force you had to apply in order to insert the iPad into the case. Bought it for work, but I am going to be case shopping again.
