I Purchased an apple symmetry folio iPad air 2 And have some concerns questions regarding the product. One of the reasons I bought this product was for the standup option and the auto shut off when the case is closed. When using the iPad it will power off periodically I think this is happening because the magnetize strip comes to close in proximity to the device. Please advise to correct this problem or I plan to return

I like the protection it gives my iPad. The color I choose is very nice. It seems durable and I like the features. The only problem I have is that the volume buttons on my iPad does not line up with the tabs of the cover. So I have to peel back the side to turn up or turn down the volume. But I can live with that.

It serves it purpose well. However, it is heavy and clumsy with its screen cover’s small flap in the way. If a user needs the protection it offers, it is a good selection.

I bought this a month ago and it makes using my I-pad much easier to use and handle. Gives you more to hold on to and viewing is easier. Also really like the stylish design and protection it gives the I-pad.

I bought this a few weeks ago and so far I am very happy with the case. It is a little heavier than my other but it looks like it will provide better protection for my iPad. I did use it to view the vertical screen which I won't use that often, just think you need to be careful when turning it into that position.

I purchased this case a few weeks ago to replace my Logitech keyboard case after it broke. This case has been quite useful. I can change the viewing angle with ease. It's not as awkward as I thought when using the onscreen keyboard. It definitely adds an additional layer of protection over the Logitech case. Definitely worth the purchase.

I love the feel, color and weight of this case. It keeps my iPad upright and I love that it can be rotated for those apps that don't. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because the volume buttons on the case don't line up with the buttons on my iPad Air. I made pen marks on the outside of the cover to better locate my iPad volume. It works alright but I don't need to adjust the volume that often.

I bought this case 3 months ago. It was the perfect case until I turn the case to view the screen and it popped out of its circle. The case still holds the iPad I just am afraid when I carry it that it will slip out of the portfolio part since it will not stay attached at the ring/swivel part.

I have had this for over a year now and it looks exactly the same as the first day I got it. I had gone through a case a year with my last iPad but this one is amazing. I've also dropped it more often than I care to admit and there's no damage to the iPad or the case. I have the gray one and the fabric might make it difficult to clean so this may not me the right case for kids or messy situations. The screen angle is fully adjustable and for my use it stays without slipping. I would whole heartedly recommend this.

This is my second Symmentry because I loved my first one so much! The look and feel are rich. And the functionality has everything I wanted. It holds its position no matter which way I turn it. And it really ptoteacts my iPad.

...and as long as I only want use the stand sideways it works great. As soon as I try to rotate it the folio part detaches from the base case. As long as you don't rotate it, it works just fine. I would be terrified to drop it, though, since it keeps popping loose.

The worst and pointless case. Though it is great quality, but will not stay in the ring holder. One tiny wrong twist and it comes off. I spend more time putting it back in the ring holder than enjoying my iPad.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I love it. I like the way the rubbery inside grips my Ipad Air 2 and keeps it from falling out of the slots while in the standing position. I just wish I could get the same case for my Ipad Air but it only fits the Ipad Air 2.

I bought this to cover my new iPad Air2 and really like it. I at looks professional and is very functional, while still offering great Otter box caliber of protection. I have a traditional Ottter box on my old iPad, but no longer wanted a construction grade caliber of cover on my new iPad. My husband bought this for me for my new Ipad Air 2 when I said I needed something strong to protect my "investment". This is just what I was looking for. Strong, durable and will protect my ipad very well. It is a bit heavy, but I figured its a small price to pay in order to keep it safe. Love the color too--got it in Merlot!!!

I recently purchased an Otter box for my I-Pad Air, and it arrived with the cover parts separated, and not usable. I immediately called customer service and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The lady said, "no problem" and that a new one would be sent out immediately. I received it and it works perfectly.

This case is a tank and it does what it's supposed to do, protect my iPad Air2. I had another iPad without the Otter Box and I paid the heavy price. New pad purchased. It's a tad bit heavy but it clearly beats the alternative. Learn from my mistake. Get yours on the front end!

This case gives me all of the protection I expect from Otterbox with extra functionality for my iPad. Only complaint is the weight. But I'd rather have it weigh more with piece of mind from any drops that may happen

Was impressed with product fit well easy to install. Protected my ipad very well. I later found that I had ordered the wrong case as the volume buttons didn't line up. called customer service they exchanged my case with defender series no questions asked with one phone call would highly recommend product and otter box company.

I purchased this case about 2 weeks ago. I do agree with other reviews that it is too heavy (especially when you're using an "air" model) but after having broken a previous ipad, I'll take heaviness over breakage. My main issue however is that the sleeve came away from the cover portion very easily (by my 8 year old the first time he used it) but two grown adults can't put it back together. Due to how easily it was taken apart I thought for sure it was suppose to function like that (which actually would be a nice feature & helps with the weight issue). It appears like it SHOULD snap back into place rather easily. As you can see in the photo, none of the plastic is snapped or broken on it. We've been trying for 2 days to get it back together but no luck. I came on here to see if I was doing something wrong but then saw on the Q&A that it's not suppose to operate like that...? So I guess I have just a sleeve now and no case to support it into a viewing mode or protect the screen, which defeats why I purchased this model. If I AM doing something wrong and these two parts are suppose to be able to snap back together, someone please point me in the direction to fixing it. Thank you! =)

I just bought my iPad Air 2 yesterday and have always relied on otter box for my cellphones so naturally I needed one for my iPad. I put the symmetry folio case on today and it seemed to be great. But the stand never locks in. I've tried to lock it in from all angles but it does not stick at all. I am very disappointed.
