Well packaged, well priced, does what it's supposed to do as Otterbox products tend to do.

I have had this case for about 3 weeks. I like it. I feel like my phone is very protected. I love the color! The side buttons are a little hard to push but not bad. It's very responsive to the squeeze function to activate Google Assistant. My only complaint is that it is a bit slippery. It would be nice if there were some rubber grips to make it less easy to drop or slide off of things.

I have had the watermelon pink version for about a month now and I am very happy with the product. I haven't had any major accidents with it yet, so maybe I'm just getting more responsible, but it has done a good job of protecting my phone, especially since I haven't put my screen protector on it yet.

I had the Symmetry case for my old Galaxy S phone and it protected it for 4 years of drops on pavement! When I finally replaced that phone with the Pixel, I got the same type of case. Had it for about a month with no issues so far - same performance as before and well worth the price! My only wish is for more colors, though the coral/purple has grown on me. It's not too Barbie or Crayola primary colors, so it's bright but still sophisticated.

I have had many Otterbox cases in the past, so when I upgraded to the Pixel 2 this was an obvious choice. Case is holding up great so far (a couple drops already and is not too bulky for my taste. Wish it came in a larger variety of colors for this phone, but the protection is what is most important to me.

I returned the original purchase of the melon case because I did not like the plum color accent. Got a clear case. Would prefer another color choice besides black. The clear case is comfortable and easy to use. Has a good hand feel.

I've had the case in peach color for about one month, and I love it! I've dropped it on all sorts of surfaces and have not had a single crack in the screen. The cover is not bulky, and the color is fun without being too flashy. Highly recommend!

Had it for a week now and I'm loving it! The colors were a little more pink than expected, but it's growing on me.

The case is durable and easy to clean. It is durable and easy to clean. My only complaint is that the well that surrounds the fingerprint scanner has a very steep wall. I wish it sloped so it would be more flush with the phone.

I brought this into Verizon with the screen protector (Glass+ is a must and to set up my phone. The guy said he'd never seen this color and loved it too! I like that it is a darker pink and matches with the Galaxy popsocket. Since the commuter is being replaced this one is slimmer but still close to same protection. Only problem I have is that my popsocket doesn't stick very well to it. Idk if it is a defect with the popsocket or the material of the case. Also, the port doesn't have a cover over it, but Verizon said it is built further back so it isn't really needed for the Pixel 2.

I love my new Otterbox case! It is sleek and protective but it also isn't crazy difficult to take on and off. 5 out of 5!

I love the summer melon color and I love that it protects without being a big bulky case, for the Google pixel 2 there's not a lot of cases out yet but I'm really glad that I found this one

I had this on my Pixel 2 for a little over a month. I've dropped my phone twice, once on a sidewalk and once on a parking lot. The phone landed face down on the sidewalk and on edge in the parking lot. No damage either time which has been my experience in the past with other Otterback cases

Was skeptical, at first, after having a Commuter for years for both my SGS6 and then Pixel. Always loved the rubber lining with the thin outer shell. Some reviews for the Symmetry were concerning, but having had it on my Pixel 2 for a few weeks now, I can say I have the same confidence in the protection as I did with the Commuter. Already dropped a couple of times on a hardwood floor (only a couple of feet each time) and absolutely no issues. Easy in/out of the pocket. Was initially concerned about the change of the rubber outer edges, as some note in their reviews, but I don't see the problem. Yes, a bit smoother, but no slippage. Easier to remove and reseat, so I now tend to clean the phone and case more often rather than let the inevitable dusty buildup, well, build up. Only design criticism would be the difference in the beveling of the fingerprint reader access hole. Some have commented that it's too sharp. I agree that it is a departure from the Commuter for the Pixel 1, but it isn't annoying enough for me to look elsewhere for a better case (which probably can't be found anyway). Just curious as to why there couldn't be a similar bevel. Otherwise, quite happy with this design at this point and will circle back if anything changes my opinion.

Bought this case online for my new pixel 2. Case is ok- bulkier than I anticipated. The thing I dislike the most though is that there is no grip material on the back side of the case. The buttons on the side are covered by the case, but the case makes it very difficult to push the buttons. Trying to return but having a very difficult time with customer support!

The case is made of ABS with a rubber interior, sides and front rim. If you've ever used the iPhone commuter series, this is that series, but for the Pixel 2. The power and volume buttons are going to be a little more difficult to use than without a case, but that's true of any case that protects the buttons. They get easier to use as the rubber softens over time. I've used this Otterbox series for years under different names on several iPhones, the LG G3, and now the Pixel 2. I'm rough on my phones and the Otterbox has never let me down.

I've had this case for a couple weeks now, and it is nice except for two gripes - 1, the material is peeling a little at the top left corner a bit, 2, the phone rocks a tiny bit when on a flat surface. It's kind of annoying because when I touch the screen when it is on a flat counter or table top, the phone taps a little as it shifts weight. Overall, not too big of a deal.

The case feels safe and secure. It's also flexible enough to activate the assistant. However, I purchased the glass screen protector that Google sells with the phone and it was on my phone before putting this case on. I wish the product description had warned me that it would not fit over the glass screen protector as it was too big and both the top of the glass and bottom fully cracked. Wasted 30 dollars on a screen protector.

I had a similar style case for my iPhone and now that I changed to the Pixel I had to get one too. They are not too bulky, yet they protect the phone really well. I have a 3 year old and cannot count the times he threw or dropped my phone and I never got a single scratch.

This is a very easy to install case that seems to be sturdy and well made. I've already dropped my phone multiple times and the case has protected my new Pixel 2 well. The elongated indentation for the fingerprint sensor seems excessive and interferes a little with my Popsocket. The power butter and volume controls were very stiff when first installed but are becoming easier to use. Overall, I'm happy with the case, though I wish it had come in more color options.

I've had it now for a couple weeks and this case get the balance of protection and accessibility right. It adds minimal bulk and the buttons are a bit stiffer to push, (as I use it they'll limber up), but it gives me confidence that now my phone can handle my everyday clumsiness and abuse for years. Glad I trusted OtterBox.

My only complaint is this case does not have a protective flap for the phone charger jack.

Every iPad and phone at our house has an OtterBox on it. Just got the new Google Pixel 2 phone, and of course ordered 2...1 for my husband, who always gets black....then I went to choose my color.. 1 option only. Purple/coral. Not a fan at all. Please add new colors!

I bought the sparkle case for my new Pixel 2 and have been happy with the case. It's a slim fit and doesn't add much bulk to the phone and was easy to put on. The buttons on the case are a little rigid. I would buy this again.

The representative at the company that sold me the cell phone service recommended that I buy a protective cover from OtterBox.com before using my new Pixel 2 smartphone. I did buy the Symmetry case and I am extremely happy I took her advice.

The case is well-constructed but a bit bulky. The buttons are hard to push in. Much harder than with previous OtterBoxes that I've used. One nice thing is the squeeze feature still works to launch Google Assistant. I would recommend this case to protect your investment.

Pros: - Since I'm a klutz, I've accidentally dropped it a few times (1 time in the dirt, mostly on concrete) from about 3-4 feet high. Protects exactly as expected. No complaints there. - Active Edge still works fine at medium sensitivity despite its rigidity. Cons: - Power and volume buttons need more force to activate. - Difficult to remove Pixel 2 from the case. Additional info: It's probably psychological and not scientific, but I preferred the soft rubber edges from the commuter series way back when I had a Samsung phone. When this case hits hard concrete, it gives a sense of unease hearing that loud smacking sound on impact. With the soft rubber edges, my old case would bounce around like a super ball. That really made my phone feel indestructible.

I expected this to be sleeker and have a more gripable rubberized texture, considering returning.
