OtterBox Symmetry Series Case for Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, Clear

The case is not really clear, but extremely glittery. I'm a 60-year-old father, and have gotten dozens of comments about the case, basically saying it's more appropriate for a 12-year-old girl. I'm holding onto it because it cost me so much, and just because I'm stubborn. But I really would've liked a clear case.

My iPhone 12 completely shattered with this case on it. This is the second time one of my phones has shattered with an Otterbox on it, and their customer service team does not care. I have been buying Otterboxes for my iPhones since I had my first iPhone in 2011. The quality has clearly gone down in the last 5 years. Would recommend going with a different brand if you want your phone to stay nice!

I loved it until it turned brown and stretched out. I cannot even get it to fit my phone correctly anymore because both sides are stretched out and it won't fit snug anymore. It's also brown around the rubber part and I've soaked it in hot water and soap and scrubbed but nothing is cleaning this thing.

I've used this case for a few weeks and it hasn't shown any signs of yellowing. I was concerned by some of the other reviews but ignored them and so far it's been fine. I've dropped my phone from 3-4ft onto a wood floor a few times and it has protected my phone. If you want a clear case, this is a good option. I have no reason to give it anything less than 5 stars.

My family and I have used otterbox cases for our iPhones for years with no issues. This particular case (clear) I had to replace (at my expense) because the edges were becoming brown and discolored. Now with the new replacement, my iPhone 12 Pro cracked after just a simple 2 foot drop and in the past that was never an issue. I'm reading all other reviews and OtterBox is not taking ownership with assisting people with the cost of having their phones repaired, which is extremely disappointing! We purchase the otterbox case with the assurance that our iPhones will be protected with every day ordinary use. There are numerous reports of cracked phones with this case. Shame on you, OtterBox, you should be taking more responsibility in assisting your customers with the expense!

I purchased this case and notices that it started turning brown and warping at the edges so I used my warranty to get a replacement (thinking it was a bad batch I purchased from). 1 year later and the case is brown and warped again. The case was great for a few months. I wish it stayed that way. Faulty product.

I got this case as my warranty replacement for my Lifeproof case that had broken after a year of use because there were no more Lifeproof cases available for my phone size. The standard between this case and my old Lifeproof case are night and day. It's very flimsy in comparison. I could compare this plastic to the plastic they make toys of that you get in cereal boxes. Ever since Otterbox took over for Lifeproof the cases have become more and more disappointing. The materials and overall product looks and feels much cheaper. I only paid the $5 shipping for this case since it was a warranty and it still feels like I over paid for this product. The idea that this sells for $50 retail is mind boggling.

I've had this case for over a year now and I dropped it only once right when i first got it and it didn't protect my phone at all on the back. The back was completely smashed. I finally got the phone fixed and I just dropped it since getting it fixed, instantly the back was cracked again! My fault for not learning the first time :( Also the colour fades. Overall would not get this case again

My phone shattered when I dropped it from 3 feet high in this case, it's completely scratched at the black because of whatever weird material they used and it got yellow within weeks.

This is the 2nd symmetry case for my phone. With both cases it has protected my phone from cracks when it has fallen, good case for that. But the downside is that both case including this new one the front soft plastic side changes to a yellowish color which is ugly. Not sure why it does it.

This is the second case - first one yellowed - they scratch easily and had to pay $10 for a replacement - wish I had chosen another case but not willing to spend up to $50 for one

This otter box case is beautiful, super sparkly and fun! But if you're looking for a case that stays together and works well, don't get it. I'm on my replacement and the case is separating again, like the first one, the frame to the back to the case

I received my new otter box and shockingly my back of my phone cracked when it dropped. I have dropped my old hind hundreds of times and this is the first time it cracked.

It protects the phone well and is a very slim and nice looking case. It cracked after two-years of use, but was very simple to issue the warrenty replacement. I like the case in general. The only thing to complain is the case yellowed a little bit over time.
