My otter box cooler is great. I have a medium soft shell cooler with a latch down lid and it's awesome. I've used it on multiple car trips. I travel a lot for work. I've recently used it for a beach trip and it's performed exactly as I would hoped. After two days it still had ice.

My girlfriend bought this cooler bag for me as an Xmas gift. Stoked to get it as we have lots of adventures that we use coolers for. I've come from an old school little red cooler and we decided it was time to upgrade to this one after lots of research and a great article in the Times. However the day I received it, the hard mounting points (both of them) fell out of the bag in my hands. Like there was no glue at all on them. Not wanting to go through all the return process, and worried that the next one would do the exact same thing I fixed them myself. But the vinyl is obviously coated with something and doesn't like the glues that are needed to repair them. Not stoked I had to do a repair even before my first use. However, using the cooler has been really nice. Loading is easy, carrying is easy, and the size is convenient. Does it really hold ice as well as people report though..? Not really, no. It's keeps things cool, but not cold! Time will tell. I'll update after I have more time with it. So far it's only been used for car trips. As the weather warms up, it'll get lots of use on the water and camping in the wilderness.

Got this for my boyfriend?s birthday, and we both agree it is absolutely the best gift ever! All of his other backpack ice-chests were too small or didn?t hold ice for long. Now we can fit so much more than just both of our drinks, and it all stays cold for much, much longer!
