Shopper : Can I use heat transfer paper?
Shopper : does this come with a "starter" toner of any sort? or do i need to buy toner along with to try out the printing?CARL F : yES IT DOES COME WITH A STARTER TONER FOR 500 COPPIES. tHE STANDARD TONER IS 2500 My problem is when you have to buy the replacement toner its 100 dollars plus or $400 + for the set . Better to toss it away and buy a new one The Konica Minolta is the exact same product and the price of toner is about half.. Also the Brother is a fine product.. I also found the printer to be slower than the Oki c3500 series because it makes individal passes for each color... Redeeming fact is it gives excellent pictures on plain paper..MARYANN K : The OKI MC160 does come with black and color cartridges and I have been using it for several months and find that it performs very well.

Fine printer but dont buy it

Bought this unit because i've had OKI products before. After purchase I found its identical to the Konica but 100$ more and the Toner is almost twice the price. I feel taken advantage of

I bought this product only to find that its the same as the konic whic is 100 dollars cheaper and the toner is almoct half the price. Oki has thier lable put on it its identical

The MC160 MFP from OKI Data combines color and mono printing, copying and scanning (with convenient scan-to capabilities) and Super G3 faxing. With the MC160 MFP, you can get up to 20 crisp, clear black & white prints or copies per minute and up to 5 ppm with the added emphasis of professional business color when you want it. Its 35,000-page duty cycle means it will produce those pages with unmatched reliability.

For fewer user interventions, the MC160 MFP has a maximum paper capacity of 700 sheets and will hold 2,500-sheet Black and Color toner cartridges. It won't jam on heavier weight stock, since it can handle up to 110 lb. index (209 gsm). And it's available with a duplex (2-sided) printing option that helps save time and paper. The MC160 MFP is designed to let you get more done in less time. Simply insert a USB memory stick into the USB port conveniently located on the front of the MC160 MFP and place your document on the flatbed platen or in the 35-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF). Scan it as a black & white or color PDF, save it to the memory stick and you're on your way in seconds. In addition, the MC160 MFP's standard dual-access fax functionality lets you scan faxes into memory while the unit is busy sending or receiving faxes.
